it was ok
the concept of this book was so promising but the writing was Bad. i didn’t find any of the characters compelling, the plot was messy and very poorly paced, and the dialogue was stiff and unnatural. it certainly didn’t help that the audiobook reader had horrible delivery, but even without that this would have been a very bad read. sad to say this fell short of every expectation
