it was amazing
I loved everything about this. Manga is very hit or miss for me and it can be expensive, so I don¨t usually engage. But this! The art especially caught my attention. It¨s some of the most beautiful artwork I¨ve ever seen and reminds me of Arthur Rackham. But the rest of it too, the characters, the story, the world building. There is not any part of it that I do not adore.

The one star rating is probably unfair. You know when you read a book and for whatever reason, it lines up with you is such a way that it is the most impactful and powerful and wonderful thing you have ever read? Well the exact opposite of that happened to me with this book. Instead of being enlightening, it was discouraging beyond belief and threw me back into some very unhealthy thought patterns.
