My heart just broke. A major revelation, a huge breakthrough in this ancient murder mystery... we are merely halfway through this complicated, bafflingly beautiful adventure. And the manner in which the plot twist was revealed was written SO powerfully, putting the reader and characters SO PROFOUNDLY at the scene of the event, that I felt every word. And my heart broke along with that of each of the characters. Wow.
