I know, I know... What took me so long? It's only thanks to Bryan Fuller and his impending Starz adaptation that I thought to try this out at all and am I glad that I did. Great first chapter.

Started this today and had to put it down against my will so I'd actually get some work done. This is such a joyful, hilariously human read!

If I could, I'd like to ask Burroughs why John Carter didn't just leap out of the pit of plenty. Convenient for the plot that JC suddenly forgot that he could do that.
