How do you get inspired to write?
Isabella I have stories rolling around in my head. So it's easy to enjoy writing, the problem is finding the time! Now that's a problem.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Isabella I enjoy cigars and wondered about the family dynasties that founded the industry. I didn't know any so I created my own!

What are you currently working on?
Isabella Cigar Barons. A family drama where blood isn't thicker than water, it's war!

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Isabella Do it! Stop thinking about it and put it down on paper. The it? A song, a story, a journal, anything that speaks to you. Oh, and work on your craft. Writing is a craft and with any craft the only way you get better is to work at it. Take a class, go to a conference and write.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Isabella I get to take those voices yelling in my head out for a walk every once in a while and put them on paper to bug someone else!
