S.A. Stovall Hello Emily! I'm stoked to hear you're enjoying Vice City! I already wrote the sequel (it comes out April 2018) and I have the third book outlined. The sequel focuses on Miles and Pierce, and so will the third, but a few more perspectives will show up then (other than Pierce). I can't say how many more novels will come out after that, but I'm sure it'll continue! (And I hope you enjoy them all :3)
S.A. Stovall Yes, very much so! It makes worldbuilding vastly easier when you can draw historical parallels to certain events. Sometimes large world-spanning events are difficult to conceptualize, but having a firm grasp on history allows for a deeper understanding of politics, nations, and cause-in-effect.

How would a nation react to a monarch suddenly dying? How does war effect nation? How does famine influence the decisions of normal people?

Having read a vast deal of history, I feel I know what is, and isn't a logical conclusion to these questions. The real trick is adding something more (usually magic and fantasy, but sometimes science fiction) that really brings a new world to life!

Thank you for question!
S.A. Stovall I like to go walking with my ipod. The music and the blood flow help me get creative, especially if the song is fast paced. :3
S.A. Stovall Keep writing. The more you write, the better you become. Maybe you'll get rejected--and maybe you'll get rejected hundreds of times--but there's always another chance to improve and get accepted as long as you keep writing! I know--I've lived through the rejections myself.
