Thank you for the question, Soriya. When I'm struck by an idea, I run it by my critique partners/writer friends first. If it’s something that excites them, I hone the logline and flesh it out to a pitch/blurb. I then run it by my agent before it even gets to my editor. It has to be something compelling and unique and, most important, makes me thrilled to write the book.

Seeing your book in reader’s hands. As an author, I want a connection with readers to show my world through my experiences. A well written book is an escape from one’s routine reality and a way of revealing a unique point of view.

Accept revisions as a natural and integral part of writing. Revisions make your manuscript shine and allow you to shape your words and pages into their best form. The common misconception that revisions are an indication of mistakes is wrong. Revisions are an opportunity to bolster and strengthen. Changing perspectives is important.
