Yay, thank you so much! Yes, Roy and I went to my favorite hot springs for a relaxing weekend--it was fabulous!

Hi Anna, thank you so much! I would absolutely love to write more of them. I don't have one on the schedule right now, but hopefully very soon!
Erica Ridley
Hi Elaine! You're absolutely right--the later stories were renumbered, which is probably causing the confusion. A Match, Unmasked and All I Want are two different stories. :)

Hi Evren! Yes, I definitely plan to write a story for each of the Wynchester siblings. I'm so glad you like Elizabeth! I love her, too.

That just made my day. Thank you for answering!

Is there anything you can share about Elizabeth's story? (Hopeful release date, love interest, anything)

Hi Joann! Yay, thank you so much!! Yes, All I Want is only available in ebook form. (Because it is a short story.) There may be future Dukes of War short stories, in which case they might be compiled into a print book one day, but for now All I Want is only digital. :)

Hi Rhiannon! Yes, the final four Dukes of Christmas books are coming soon: Dawn with a Duke (September), One Night with a Duke (October), Ten Days with a Duke (November), Forever Your Duke (December). Also this fall is Too Brazen to Bite (an updated re-release of Never Been Bitten). Early in 2021, we have The Duke Heist (first in the new Wild Wynchesters series, featuring a tight-knit family of caper-committing siblings), and in May I'll have an original novella in the multi-author anthology, A Midsummer Night's Romance. Hope that helps!! XOXO

What a lovely review, Natalie! I am delighted and flattered, and thrilled you enjoyed Never Say Duke so much. These two are very close to my heart! XOXOXO

Hi Jane! I wrote a hook and first chapter for a fantasy RomCom that would later become Must Love Magic, starring a no-nonsense scientist and an accident-prone apprentice tooth fairy. I'm not sure if I can paste URLs in here, but I'll try to link to the original concept:

Hi Amy! Now that Julia Quinn's Bridgertons are about to become a Netflix series, I would looooove if Julie Garwood's historicals did, too! Those were some of my very first auto-buys, and I would reread those books until the spines fell apart. I bet they'd make an amazing series. :)

Hi Rita! Oh, man, is this a tough question!! I live in Costa Rica, which means I'm within a day's drive (or a short walk) of rain forest, mountains, and/or beach, so I'm very lucky right here at home. But I love to visit new places, so my current favorite is usually wherever I've just been that I've never been before, especially if it's an area rich with history or nature. There's so much world out there to see! :-)

Hi Jerilynn! I honestly can't remember a time when I didn't want to be an author. I was writing "stories" (terrible ones, lol) by the time I started elementary school. My family encouraged me to get a "real" job, and I did follow this advice for many years. I never felt it was right for me, and decided around 2005 to give my childhood dream a real chance. Like anything that's worth it, it took time and effort, but I'm so glad I never gave up! I love being an author, and now can't imagine doing anything else. :-)

Hi Rhonda! Although my very favorite comfort-food way to read is curled up with a paperback, most of my books these days are ebooks. I travel often, and love being able to carry an entire library around with me!
Erica Ridley
Hi Jeffrey! I am delighted to say that no, I've never had a bad experience meeting fans. Book lovers are the best! Unless you count how much lighter my wallet gets when we start recommending our favorite books to each other, lol. After every signing, I usually end up with a stack of new books to read, too! ;-)

Hi Shirley! There are so many places I would love to visit. Regency, of course, since I write (and read!) so many books set in that era. Jazz Age, Victorian, Georgian, Elizabethan, Ancient Egypt, Rome, Greece, China, the pre-Columbus Americas... Basically everywhere and every time. It would be so fascinating!

Hi Linda! I love romance (especially historical and romcoms!) but when I'm in the middle of writing it, I like to read something outside my genre. Which for me usually means suspense/thriller. Maybe I'll even write one someday! ;)
Erica Ridley
Hi Eileen! My degree is in International Business and Marketing. Before becoming a writer, I worked at a marketing firm, then in an ad agency, and then started my own company, which I ran for many years. But being an author is my favorite job of all!
Erica Ridley
Hi Deborah! No, I don't have children. But I very much enjoy being an aunt!
Erica Ridley
Hi Linda! What a great question. My answer is... maybe? Probably? I haven't written fantasy in several years, but I've always wanted to continue the Magic & Mayhem series. It was such a blast to write. I also recently got the rights back to a historical vampire romance, so that direction is also a possibility. Or something new entirely! Maybe next year... :-)

Hi Calvin! I have designed some of my book covers in the past, but all of my current covers were provided by my publisher and/or created by a professional designer. I'm a much better writer than a cover artist! ;-)
Erica Ridley
Hi Karen! If you read ebooks, I'd suggest starting with ONCE UPON A DUKE and/or THE VISCOUNT'S TEMPTING MINX, both of which are free (my favorite price!) and first in their series. I hope you love them!
