Bernie Morris The creeping sands grew ever nearer and the last man on earth went outside, in spite of his mother's protest. He was six years old and he made a sandcastle.
Bernie Morris I don't have a recent book unless you count a short story that I am thinking of publishing on Kindle. It's called 'The Strange One' and is about the first Cro Magnon child who might have been the missing link. I would need a cover picture for this. Any offers?
Bernie Morris Don't have a problem with 'the Muse'. Write lots of poetry and quizzes, but must wait until my existing books are accepted.
Bernie Morris As an editor, I am currently working with 2 authors; one of whom is rewriting an older book, the other is brand new. I am not at liberty to name these books, as it's confidential material.
Bernie Morris Don't be scared. Just write and your characters will take over and write themselves. I have proved this time and time again. Just write.
Bernie Morris You can always do it. No matter how old or incapacitated you get, so long as you've got your brain, you can do it.
Bernie Morris I've never had writer's block as I've got so much stuff to do for other authors that I never get time to write my own stuff.
Bernie Morris I wouldn't say 'romanticised' at least not those that I have read. I would say that 'the truth comes out' when a person knows that they have no hope, and so they try to tell it from their POV -- and maybe to save others from despair. In the case of illness, I think if you know you are going to die, then you definitely want to get your message 'out there'. In the case of addiction, while there is still hope, you would still want to get your message 'out there', so maybe this would be more of a 'cry for help'. I really don't know, but I hope so.
