Gregg Akkerman I know that for me, the better my outline is, the better the final product is.

If you're planning on being an indie, like me, the amount of time spent on the business is daunting. It's so easy for time to be wasted and lost.

There are definitely times to spend money on your education, but I've found excellent information for free.

My first two books were with a traditional publisher and generated $60K in sales. I only saw about $5k of that. Being an indie is crazy hard, but I'd rather go down hard on my own than let another publisher keep 90% of the pie.

The challenge becomes to remember them long enough to write down the bullet points.
Gregg Akkerman I don't really suffer from conventional writer's block. I simply have periods when I write, and periods when I don't. If I'm in a writing period, I just sit down and get it done.
