I am currently working on The Dawn of Limcat, my first novel lenth work. It is a Sword and Sorcery fantasy. It is inspired in part by The Malazan Book of The Fallen series, The Prince of Nothing triology, and A Song of Ice and Fire series as well as other great grimdark fantasy. As a sord and sorcery story, it has a smaller cast of characters and a faster pace than epic fantasy.

Writers just need to write. One doesn't need inspirartion to write in general. But, I am inspired by other works I read as well as films I see, which do spark ideas. Yet, sometimes ideas just come from the depest depths of imagination.

I am currently working on The Dawn of Limcat, my first sword and sorcery story. I expect it to be novelette in length and hope it kicks off a popular ongoing series. It has been challenging, but at the same time, I have been having great fun working on it.
The story centers around a young sorceress who has grown up in exile and who matures into her powers when she is suddenly drawn into a fantastic adventure. Her journey will return her to her homeland and to a forbidden island beyond, where a goddess is held against her will by a species long thought eradicated.
