I completely read the Final Formula Series, and I'm now starting the Blood Gifts I really love the story and the way you write. Is the Whispers on the Wind a new series?
Becca Andre Hi Brian. Yes, Whispers on the Wind is the first book in my Death's Legacy Series. It features Era and Doug and takes place after the Final Formula Series (actually, it takes place between the last chapter of The Fifth Essence and the epilogue). When I began Whispers on the Wind, I had intended it to be a single story, but it wanted to be more. I went ahead and published it, but I wanted to finish my Iron Souls Series (a steampunk flavored fantasy) first. I'll be returning to Death's Legacy this winter. Thanks for reading!

Are you planning on writing anything else? Another series? Stand-alone's? I absolutely love your writing and characters. I just got done with The Blood Alchemist and was shocked to see that there is nothing else listed here or on your website.
Becca Andre Hi Katie. I've only been publishing a little over three years and my Final Formula Series is all I have written at this time. There are currently nine titles in the series (counting the novellas) and I'll be publishing the last Final Formula book this spring. I plan to release the first book in a new series later this summer. Thanks for giving my giving my books a try!

I'm so sad that you're working on the final book in this series. I only started reading it earlier in October and flew through the entire series in about 2 weeks. I just couldn't put it down. Do you have plans for something else after you finish FF5? If you're planning to take a well-deserved break, do you have any recommendations for what us fans should look into reading next?
Becca Andre Yes, I'll be starting a new series once I finish FF5. I've had this steampunk fantasy kicking around in the back of my mind for years and I would love to get it on paper (or ereader). I'll share more details once I actually start writing it, but you can expect smart-mouthed characters, a bit of romance, and the occasional explosion. As for the Final Formula world, this good-bye isn't forever. ;)

Becca Andre Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I'm hard at work on the next book (code name FF3.5) which is another James-Elysia novella. It should be ready to release in late spring. Then I'll be jumping back into Addie's POV for the next full length novel. :)
