Michelle L. Hamilton I am currently working on the diary of a Civil War solider named James Myers. He was from Pennsylvania and fought for the Union during the war serving as a hospital steward for his regiment. What is fascinating is that many of the places that he visited during the war are now within a short distance of my home in Virginia.
