K.L. Shandwick Sliding into the car's leather seat I felt a sudden blast of an icy wind and a cold boney hand as it gripped my shoulder. Petrified, my heart pounded in my tight chest as I nervously glanced into my rearview mirror and saw the bloody body of myself mutilated on the back seat.

K.L. Shandwick Sorry Marilyn, forgive me. I was writing so just caught up with this now. Thank you for your question. I have been asked for more of the story quite a lot. However, I was writing another book, which I have just finished. I also have another work in progress, but when it is done I will take another look at the Last Score series, and if a storyline comes to mind I may revisit. I would never say never.

K.L. Shandwick I had this when I was writing Love With Every Beat, mainly because I was writing from the male perspective. So I guess Alfie the character, didn't want to be ignored!
K.L. Shandwick Creating new characters for readers to enjoy. Also, hearing the readers views and interacting with them on social media platforms. It's a fabulous feeling when someone talks to you about a character as if they are a person or wants to share a scene from a book you have written. The support from readers can never be underestimated!
K.L. Shandwick Just get your ideas down. Don't worry about what it all looks like initially, it is your thoughts at that point. Once you have your basic story sit down and ask yourself a list of questions who where why how did they react ecetera to ensure you expand the scene bring the reader a scene which has descriptive and emotional impact. Read and re read does the story flow? I'm not an expect everyone has different formulas for writing, this is just the method I use.
K.L. Shandwick I've just finished Love With Every Beat: Alfie's POV on music, fame and love. This is the male side of the Everything Trilogy. Lily's reflective account on her journey left me enough scope for Alfie to tell his side of the story, but he also had his own story to tell.
K.L. Shandwick I'm inspired by various influences. Visual images and music play a huge part in my writing, I compile playlists as I go along and music is woven through the books I have written to give further impact to emotional scenes. Also, my observations of interactions between people, how they react and respond to events.
K.L. Shandwick The Everything Trilogy came from a challenge set to me by a friend. I never intended on writing a book when I did it. I was challenged to write a chapter of a book. When I said I wouldn't know what to write the subject was given to me. English girl studying music in the USA. I'm glad we had that conversation!
