“You can also see in this story - why not - a metaphor of modern society. (��) During the first reading, Berliac’s comic can shock, surprise and confuse. Iconoclastic humor, absurd adventures, grotesque heroes, flavored with encyclopedic information about the mythical sodium glutamate create a surreal mix, which you have to get used to before you can become addicted to it. Only then can one slowly begin to see the the underlying message in this story, a radical social criticism abundant in irony and satire��.
