Roy was really upset for a while. I think he felt betrayed, but we talked about it, and I reminded him that we DON'T play games in our marriage--never have. "Handling" one another would qualify as "game playing" in my book. He agreed. After I clarified that by "handling" I meant more so learning to better communicate things in ways that he would hear me and understand me, he felt better about it--and so did I! ;)
