Am I the only one who thought the ending of this book was the literary form of coitus interruptus? I thought the book was wonderful until the end and then it lost me.

I am glad I finally read this, and for the most part I really enjoyed it. BUT, did anyone else get sick of the phrase, "My poor, poor, dear, Madame Mina?"

Mikhail I was constantly rolling my eyes. In the beginning I loved the writing, toward the end it seemed so cumbersome.

Zakle You might be confused through out it since it IS an older book. There are a lot of words that are not apart of todays typical language, but I absoluteâ€¦m´Ç°ù±ðYou might be confused through out it since it IS an older book. There are a lot of words that are not apart of todays typical language, but I absolutely loved it when I first read it. Of course there were a lot of words I didn't know, and I often found myself at a lost, but I do believe that was because I was young when I first read it. Around fifteen or fourteen. It's a great classic though and I do recommend it. (less)

Cecilia I've just finished it. Very hard to read from the perspective of a 21st century reader. The myth of Dracula has been told so many times there was nothâ€¦m´Ç°ù±ðI've just finished it. Very hard to read from the perspective of a 21st century reader. The myth of Dracula has been told so many times there was nothing suprising - this is not Stoker's fault but the result of how popular the genre he created became.

I found the end rushed and a bit anti climatic. I'm just glad I was able to pull though - at moments the prose was so dense I could barely keep myself from giving up and just skimming.(less)
