There are a lot of words that are not apart of todays typical language, but I absolutely loved it when I first read it. Of course there were a lot of words I didn't know, and I often found myself at a lost, but I do believe that was because I was young when I first read it. Around fifteen or fourteen. It's a great classic though and I do recommend it. (less)

Very hard to read from the perspective of a 21st century reader. The myth of Dracula has been told so many times there was nothing suprising - this is not Stoker's fault but the result of how popular the genre he created became.

I found the end rushed and a bit anti climatic. I'm just glad I was able to pull though - at moments the prose was so dense I could barely keep myself from giving up and just skimming.(less)
