Sure, you may find someone who makes you feel good, but having a romantic relationship doesn't solve all of your problems. A serious disorder cannot be solved by romance, that just isn't how things work. So I dont think it portrays OCD at all, if anything it just romanticizes it, which is heartbreaking.(less)

Ritz I don't have OCD, but based on what others have told me this book portrayed a very unrealistic version of OCD. Apparently, real OCD is having overwhel…m´Ç°ù±ðI don't have OCD, but based on what others have told me this book portrayed a very unrealistic version of OCD. Apparently, real OCD is having overwhelming thoughts all the time, not just occasionally (like how it is in this book). But, some of it is realistic, like how without her medication, Sam could only get a couple hours of sleep every night because she's just thinking. (less)
