I've tried to read this book twice and got to page 40 and still bored out of my mind...Does it get any better and is it worth it?

Natasha Tonge No...it really doesn't. There are 3 maybe 4 dramatic scenes over the course of the book. The first is the first 100 pages or so when the main characteâ€¦m´Ç°ù±ðNo...it really doesn't. There are 3 maybe 4 dramatic scenes over the course of the book. The first is the first 100 pages or so when the main characters are getting to know each other then there is a lot of traveling. A LOT of traveling. If you really love the main characters then it might keep you entertained to see them developing their friendship but if you're kind of eh about them anyway and reading for the plot then forget about. Try the first 100 pages or so - at least until they start traveling and if you're still bored out of your mind (like I was) then I don't recommend continuing.(less)

This is book is my first high fantasy read and i'm planning on reading more of the genre, however, due to this book I don't know if I should continue? are all high fantasy books like this? Terrible pacing and dare I say, a bit boring?

Serena I haven't read the Graceling series, but I have read the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. I highly recommend it. I loved the books and I thougâ€¦m´Ç°ù±ðI haven't read the Graceling series, but I have read the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. I highly recommend it. There's only one problem (as I see it) with these phenomenal books... What do you do then? I almost have a fear of never ever being able to find something as genius as these! Do any of you have some suggestions on similar books with some sort of medieval theme, high pace, action and love?
