I'm an aspiring writer and a great admirer of Moore's work. I want to write prose not comic books, would this book still provide relevant insight into writing process and advice?

Stuart Yes, but with qualification. He writes a bit on why comics are unlike prose or screenwriting. The same way Scott McCloud did in Understanding Comics bâ€¦m´Ç°ù±ðYes, but with qualification. He writes a bit on why comics are unlike prose or screenwriting. The same way Scott McCloud did in Understanding Comics but that did not come out until the 1990s. This is 1985. This booklet is very polemical and much less a howto book... He is very adamant about not wanting to write a "How to Write the Alan Moore Way". But his points are well taken and require someone like Moore say them. if you love Alan Moore, its a mere 50 pages... and might add to your understanding of his stories. (less)
