They seem to be parallel stories, at least so far. Bran shows up occasionally in this series, with his son Samuel Cornick being a main character. I don't know if this changes as the series progresses. BTW, Charles and Samuel are as different as chalk and cheese. Intriguing.(less)

Karen Henry does get sent off to Bran's pack for some discipline. Mary Jo atoned for her actions (and got beat up pretty bad) by fighting Paul. Paul realized that he had been setup by Henry and he lamely goes ahead and fights Adam. He didn't have the sense to step down. Adam is aware that the pack is fragile, killing is not always the answer.(less)
