Will Montgomery is a successful professional football player and seemingly has it all. He’s not used to being told no, and certainly doesn’t take no for an answer. So when he turns his charms on his sister’s sexy rocker-chick friend Meg, he’s not only turned down, but met with open hostility, piquing his curiosity and libido. He’s determined to show her that he’s not the arrogant jock she thinks he is, and to get her into his bed.

Megan McBride is not impressed with Will Montgomery, his fat contract, fancy car, or his arrogant public persona. She doesn’t have time for a relationship, and if she’s learned anything in life, it’s that loving means losing, so she guards her heart ferociously. But she can’t deny the overwhelming attraction to the sexy, tattooed athlete, and when Will starts breaking down her defenses and grabs hold of her heart, will she be able to admit her feelings for him, or will her troubled past cause her to lose the first man she’s ever truly loved?

When I take you, you’ll know exactly what we’re doing, what you’re feeling, and I won’t stop until your legs are shaking and the neighbors know my name.

Holy fucking hell.

I have loved all Kristen Proby books to date but none more so than Fight With Me and most especially the hero at the centre of that book the wonderfully tattooed, pierced Nate. I considered him a real tough act to follow, didn’t really think that Kristen would be able to come up with a hero that measured up to him, however wonderful he seemed. Well, how freaking wrong was I?? I TOTALLY loved Will. Yes, he’s not without fault but then neither was Nate and they both had their moments but I can, hand on heart, swear that if you loved Nate, you so are going to love Will too. In fact, Kristen has a whole stable full of these studs and this series is really shaping up to be a truly great one.

Will’s girl is Meg who we met briefly in the previous book and that scene is retold at the beginning of this one with Meg’s perspective to show why she is so cold towards Will. Will is instantly attracted to Meg and can’t understand her stand-offish demeanour and is determined to get to the bottom of it and pursues her.

Wills is pretty much all kinds of awesome he may be slightly arrogant but his abundant charm lets him get away with it. He’s got a smart mouth, he’s adorable and he’s got a seriously hot tattoo. He’s from the Montgomery clan and they sure know how to breed pantie-melting alpha heroes and Will is absolutely no exception. He’s a big-time football star with the fame and adoration that goes with it he’s extremely handsome, built, fit and has a little entourage of groupies all trying to get laid by him. He’s not interested in any of that he just wants Meg and she has some pretty major trust issues and is going to take some convincing!! Let me just say, Will’s methods of convincing her of the way he feels are seriously hot and I would like to point out that I need some convincing too!!

I want to slowly undress you and taste every delectable inch of you. I want you squirming and wet.

Oh, God!! Yes, please!!

Will and Meg share a delightful journey together and I really love the way that Kristen paces these stories you can feel the attraction these two, it’s white hot and incendiary, and they, at first, resist, and the sexual tension builds slowly and surely and ratchets up into the danger zone as they can hardly keep their hands off one another until they finally and quite literally come together and I swear fireworks were going off to the accompaniment of Tchaikovsky's 1812 overture!!

Do you understand me? You turn me inside out. I want to fuck you seven shades of Sunday, and I want to make long, slow, sweet love to you for days. I’m craving you, goddamn it, and you can’t just say shit like that to me when I know what you taste like, and what you look like and I need desperately to know what the fuck you feel like.

Meg is a wonderful heroine she’s a paediatric oncology nurse, having given up a promising singing career to follow her vocation, she works too hard, she comes from an unstable childhood and is slow to trust and Will is going to have a hard time convincing her that his feelings for her are genuine and they’re for keeps.

We haven’t spent all this time together, getting to know each other, driving each other crazy, to have a quick fuck and go our separate ways. You need to understand, Megan, once I make love to you, you’re mine.

Will pulls out all the stops and this is wonderfully romantic and, as always, gave me the warm and fuzzies and is full of goofy grin loveliness. This story is hopeful, beautiful, compelling and it’s full of humour, passion, compassion and uplifting happiness. It’s paced beautifully allowing time for the relationship to believably develop, giving Meg chance to slowly reveal the reasons behind her doubts and for Will to fully understand and to help her put these behind her. Le Sigh!! Will, I think I love you!

It’s so nice to catch up with the rest of the Montgomery Clan and their friends, brothers, sisters, and everyone else that makes up this gang and I seriously can’t wait to get more of Caleb, Matt, Leo and the mysterious Mark.

5 stars!

Is it just me, or does this series just get better and better with every book? Loved this one!

We meet Will and Meg in the last ‘With Me book. Will Montgomery is Jules brother. He is not only a pro athlete (star QB for Seattle’s team) who can be cocky and arrogant in public, but he is a considerate, kind, funny, and caring man. And hot... did I mention hot? Cause Will is hot as hell!!!!

WILL MONTGOMERY

Megan McBride, friends with Jules and Nat in college lost touch with the two. After meeting up, they become good friends again. Meg is kind of a bad ass rocker chick, but she is also a compassionate and caring pediatric cancer nurse.

MEG MCBRIDE

Will and Meg’s first meeting kind of went something like this...
“Are you married?
“Hell, no.
“Can I get your number
“Hell, no.

Will wants Meg, but she is not willing to give him the time of day. She has some preconceived notions about him due to his public persona. She soon figures out, she couldn’t be more wrong about the man Will Montgomery really is.

Once Meg lets go of her ideas of Will, they start to pursue a relationship. Meg has a ‘three date rule that Will abides by, and while they are getting to that third date... Wow- that's some sexual tension right there!!!

Will is overly protective, charming, caring oh so perfect! He is falling fast for Meg, but Meg has some trust issues she can’t let go of due to her past. She didn’t grow up like Will Montgomery, her mom is a piece of crap and she was raised in foster care. She only has one person in her family that means anything to her, her foster brother, Leo, and even that relationship is complicated right now. Will loves Meg, and even though she feels it, she has trouble expressing it.

“You scare me, but I don’t want to lose you.

I want so badly to say the words back, but I can’t. Loving means leaving.

Will tries to make Megan see what he means to her. My god he had some swoon worthy moments- dancing, painting toe nails, the dress, flowers, coming to the hospital. He was so sweet. He is also very protective of Meg. He tries and tries to get one thing through Meg’s head...

Loved the dual pov’s, great to see things from Will’s point of view! Wonderful book- I just love these Montgomery boys!!! Meg and Will are both awesome MC’s and it was great to catch up with Nat, Luke, Jules, and Nate :D I know Leo’s book is next, and I’m sure it will be great, but I say bring on Caleb Montgomery!!!! I am stoked for his book!

5 “LAZY BONES STARS!!!!!

I don’t just love this book. I am in love with this book. This book made me FEEL……so good. I was completely sucked into this book.

<3

I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor

My Will:

Jed Hill - Will - Play With Me

I love football players. Like REALLY love them. It must be those tight butts.

Will is the perfect amount of sweet, gentle, bossy, and just..man. I love me a..man. Will is a famous quarterback, and he is just so perfect, but not annoyingly perfect. I’m going to say this…deep breath. Will reminds me a little of Knight. I know! This is a big thing for me to say because Knight is my man! But it’s true. (If you don’t know who Knight is, then shame! Message me, and we will have a serious conversation about Knight.)

My Meg:

Meg - Play With Me

Meg Lady Boner. She is my new best friend and one of my favorite heroines. I can think of very few confident heroines that I love. Meg has inspired me to create a list of favorite heroines. I have my book boyfriends list (duh!), but now I need a list of favorite heroines. Meg is a little vixen. She knows what she wants and she’s not afraid to ask for it (especially in bed! Yes!). Of course, she has some baggage, but she doesn’t let it get her down or hold her back. She is a woman who loves a sexy car, has a tattoo, used to sing in a rock band, can still sing her ass off (I love to sing!).oh yeah, and she is an awesome nurse.

The story begins with Meg giving Will the blow-off (not blow-job, ladies.blow-off.The blow job comes later.in Will’s car. LOL!). I want to suck your dick in your car.

Will relentlessly pursues Meg:

Why don’t you just tell me what I did to piss you off so I can go ahead and hit on you?

But Meg always has a fabulous sassy counter:

I’m not some stupid sports groupie who’s dying to get into your pants and I’m not your baby.

There was just enough of this back and forth before the orgasms start to fly all over the place! The chemistry is crazy. The sex is perfection. Of course, they start to fall for each other. It seems like such a simple story, and maybe it is, but it was executed with ORIGINALITY, HUMOR, AND WARM FUZZIES.

When I take you, you’ll know exactly what we’re doing, what you’re feeling, and I won’t stop until your legs are shaking and the neighbors know my name.

We aren’t going to fuck, Meg. Even when it’s hard and fast or a little rough or a lot dirty, I’m not fucking you. In the kitchen, in the bedroom, on my car, or any damn where I want to take you, will not be fucking. Fucking is for strangers or people who don’t give a shit about each other.

#kisses

It’s loving, amazing, wonderful chaos.

I love the way you love me.

I really wanted to put a picture of a heart here. But hearts are so cliché and cheesy, and this book isn’t cliché and cheesy, so I needed a BADASS HEART, because this book is all kinds of BADASS and HEART.

Artist Heart

Yes, I’m terribly sick of you. You eat too much, hog the bed, and cheat at video games. Not to mention, you require way too much sex. But, I’m muddling my way through. - SARCASM IS THE WAY TO MY HEART, PEOPLE.

Fun fact: The word lazy is said 14 times in this book :). I felt so happy and relaxed reading it.

lb.jpg (1000×649)

I did not expect to absolutely LOVE this book! I liked Fight with Me (Nate & Jules), but this book is going down in the favorites for me. This book started as a loan, but I ended up buying it in the middle of reading it because I just knew I would want to read it again and again and again.

"I want to slowly undress you and taste every delectable inch of you. I want you squirming and wet."

4.5 STARS.
Play With Me by Kristen Proby is the the 3rd book in the 'With me in Seattle' series. It was a very anticipated read for me, because it's the reason why is started this series in the first place. I had high expectations, because practically every one was raving on about it, and i'm happy to say it didn't disappoint me, i extremely enjoyed it.

This is Will's story, who is a famous football player. He meets Megan McBride, when he's in a restaurant with his sister - Jules, and asks her out. To his surprise she declines. He is very intrigued by this sassy woman, and his feelings start growing the more he spends time with her. But will she ever trust him with her heart? Will she ever say the three special words he longs to hear?

My Will Montgomery

My Meg McBride
I couldn't decide on which one looks more like Megan. So let me know which one is better!

"...When i take you, you'll know exactly what we're doing, what you're feeling, and i won't stop until your legs are shaking and the neighbors know my name."

Why i loved Will?: Will is my perfect type of guy! I loved him since the moment he first appears in book 1! Other than Caleb, he is the only one that owns my heart

Not to mention he is a freaking famous football player! And you know how their bodies look like, right? *drool*. He is also the sweetest, hottest, caring guy in this book (well, maybe except Caleb, but we will see about that).

Why i liked Megan? I didn't really love her. But she was a likable character. I had some issues with her, but i'm afraid i have forgotten them, oh dear, me and my memory *shaking head*. Anyways, i loved how caring she was towards others, and how hard she was working as a nurse. I didn't like it that she stopped singing when it was obvious she loved doing it and had a big talent. And i was literally so angry at her for putting up with that horrible mother of hers !

"Yes, it's early but fuck Megan, all i do is think about you. You've gotten under my skin. I want to learn your body. I want to know what it feels like to sink inside of you."

What i liked the most?: I think what i most loved about this book, and all the books in the series, is the relationship the characters have with each other. They're all like a massive, happy family, and it makes me feel all warm inside. There's so much love.

I also loved all the other characters - Caleb *swoon*, Matt, Nate, Sam, Isaac, and even their parents!

What i didn't like?: I think that the pace of Meg's and Will's relationship ruined the book for me. It was way to fast. Half way through the book they're all like "I LOVE YOU". 20% through, Meg is scared that Will already captured her heart. Really? You only spend like, what, 1 week with him?

When Meg, Nat, and Jules go out and get drunk - OMG! That was freaking hilarious. Especially when they were talking about orgasms, and the guys thought they were crazy

"You've already given me so much," I whisper, eyes glued to the tiny blue box "I would give you the world if i could, sweetheart." My eyes fly back to his in the mirror and he's smiling softly.

OverallPlay With Me was a very satisfying and romantic read. I would highly suggest you read it on the weekend. It had great sex, many 'awww' moments, and a very big amount of hot guys that are yet to be taken! Can't wait to read Leo's and Sam's story! :)

Previous review on 'FIGHT WITH ME' (book 2 in the series)

"I'm so in love with you, Megan, i can't see straight. You mean more to me than anything. More than my family, more than football. More than anything."

One of the best erotic romances I've read---ever!

Not since have I been this excited about an author/series. Of course, I had to ruin it all and totally read the books out of order.:( But no matter. This is the fourth one I've read, after , , and , and so far my favorite. I seriously doubt Ms. Proby can create a more studtastically perfect hero than football star Will Montgomery. Just thinking about him makes me *swoon*...

Will is 6'4", with dark blond hair and beautiful blue eyes...

Brief plot synopsis...
Will's a star quarterback playing for the Seattle team (sorry, forgot their name). He meets Meg, a nurse and former local rock star, and a college friend of his sister Jules. Meg's got preconceived notions about Will, since his PR rep has turned down numerous requests made by Meg to visit the children's cancer ward where she works. She thinks he's an arrogant asshole athlete who refuses to do charitable work. Will convinces her otherwise that he's not the asshole she thinks he is when he takes her home (she's drunk) following his sister's engagement party. He doesn't take advantage of her, even though sparks are flying and Meg seems willing. When he later shows up at the hospital (bringing some teammates and loaded with gifts for the sick kids) Meg realizes she's been so wrong about him. The sexual tension between them is so thick you can cut it with a knife. But Meg won't surrender physically until she's had "three dates" with him (she's been burned in the past)...

Meg's petite with auburn hair, a curvy figure, loves chocolate, dislikes wearing panties, and has a piercing in a hidden place...

Will thinks Meg is the one for him, the woman he's been waiting for his whole life. Even though Meg and Will set the sheets on fire and seem compatible in every way, Meg (with her insecurities and trust issues) figures it's only a matter of time before Will grows tired of her and dumps her. Meg's had a horrible childhood with the parents from hell, a stint in foster care, and a very important person to her left her to pursue a career; she thinks admitting you love someone is the quickest way to lose them. So Will has his work cut out for him in getting Meg to admit her feelings for him.

"We aren't going to f***, Meg. Even when it's hard and fast or a little rough or a lot dirty, I'm not f***ing you. In the kitchen, in the bedroom, on my car, or any damn where I want to take you, will not be f***ing. F***ing is for strangers or people who don't give a shit about each other."

This Shelby Mustang is the source of much pleasure for Will and Meg...

This book had the perfect balance of sheet-scorching sex, character development, quick paced plot, easy to love supporting characters, and most of all, a hero and heroine that you can respect and care for and root for! Will was kind, caring, passionate, fun loving, and sexy as all get out...and not afraid to express his feelings--I loved that. Meg was sassy, hard working, compassionate, sexy, wary, and a bit insecure--and I totally got her. And yes, there was lots of sex in the book, but not every single sexual encounter was spelled out on the page. Or took place on a bed.:)

Will's a fan of white boxer briefs...(this was as close as I could come)...

There were some moments that had me tearing up (Nick, the young cancer patient; and when Will said something that unintentionally hurt Meg) and I had to stop reading and get myself under control. But I love when a book (or should I say author) does that--I want to be so engrossed in a story that I forget it's not real!

Will cleans up nicely when not playing football...

Safe to say that I won't be forgetting this series anytime soon. I'm so thankful for my GR friends for recommending it (thank you Shawna!). I've got two more to read that have been published ( and ) and I'm so looking forward to that quiet Matt Montgomery's book (.

So, for anyone undecided...if you've enjoyed Lauren Dane's Brown Siblings series, or any of Kristen Ashley's stories, or Jaci Burton's Play by Play series, I'll think you'd enjoy this author. This lady can write, and leave you begging for more. Totally addicting. 5 big stars

I have really enjoyed the books in Kristen Proby’s With Me in Seattle series, but this one I absolutely LOVED!

It’s not a complicated or intense book, the plot is actually fairly simple. It’s just a great romantic story featuring an absolutely swoon-worthy alpha hero and a fantastic, witty heroine, and their friends and family. And it’s all awesome!

Will Montgomery is the football star of the Montgomery clan, and he and Meg had a somewhat underwhelming introduction in the last book - Meg is a close college friend of Will’s sister Jules. But upon meeting each other again in this book, there is a definitely ‘something there.

“Why don’t you just tell me what I did to piss you off so I can go ahead and hit on you.

Meg initially thinks he’s an arrogant asshole, but Will is persistent and very quickly wins Meg over as she gets to know the real him, and they’re straight into it! He’s clearly interested, he tells her he’s interested, he asks her out, she says yes, and it goes from there. No games, no bullshit, and it’s so refreshing! Yes, there’s a bump or two, but for the most part it’s very easy with them, and they are both very open about what they are feeling particularly Will.

“When I take you, you’ll know exactly what we’re doing, what you’re feeling, and I won’t stop until your legs are shaking and the neighbors know my name.

Yep, Will is one sexy, confident Alpha, with all of the associated protectiveness, possessiveness and bossiness that goes along with it! He’s also funny, caring, not afraid to talk about his feelings, and is very big on the PDA. He’s pretty freaking perfect actually! And he even calls her sweetheart *dreamy sigh*. He makes a couple of slip ups along the way, but he owns it, he grovels appropriately, and he’s right back on track. I just adore him!

“You’re mine, Meg, just as much as I’m yours

Oh, and he’s also sexier than all get out!

“We aren't going to fuck, Meg. Even when it's hard and fast or a little rough or a lot dirty, I'm not fucking you. In the kitchen, in the bedroom, on my car, or any damn where I want to take you, will not be fucking. Fucking is for strangers or people who don't give a shit about each other.

“You need to understand, Megan, once I make love to you, you’re mine.

Meg is a fantastic heroine! She’s confident, no-nonsense and down to earth, with a great sense of humor and her narrative is fantastic!

“I’m surrounded by a whole lot of hotness. If I wasn’t me, I’d be jealous of me.

“I’m not flirting. I’m just paying extra attention to someone who’s very attractive.

She also has quite the dirty mouth! It’s usually the guy doing all of the seductive talk, but she gives back as good as she gets, and I really liked that about her. She has some issues from her past which impact on her relationship, but they are fairly minor, and for the most part, she deals, she lives her life, and she follows her heart. And you’ve gotta respect that!

I loved Meg and Will together. There’s no big conflict, no twists or big shocks, no stupid behavior or unnecessary angst. They tease, they banter, they communicate well, they have fun together, and there’s also a whole heap of sex! These two steam it up in the bedroom shower kitchen car pretty much anywhere really. And it’s all freaking hot! But the underlying story is definitely a romantic one. They have a very strong connection, and the emotion between them is gorgeously written, and OMG, there is so much swooooon!

“I would give you the world if I could, sweetheart.”
“You are my world, I whisper.

And, bonus! Every now and again there is a chapter in Will’s POV - just at the right moment where you’re really wanting to know where his head is at. And it rounds out the story really well.

I’m really enjoying this cast of characters. With each book, I get to know them more, and I love all of them! There’s a lot of time spent with the extended family in this book (including a great continuation of the story for the couples from the previous two books), and I loved it whenever one or all of them showed up! They are a fantastic bunch, and the dynamics between them are sensational. There is obviously a lot of love between them, but the boys rib on each other, the siblings bicker like siblings, and when the girls get together watch out! This book contains one of the funniest drunken girly conversations I have ever read! From orgasms to spanking and piercings, they let it all hang out, all in front of two poor hapless Montgomery brothers. The whole scene was just GOLD!

We are also introduced to Leo Nash, rock star, and hero of the next book. There are sparks already flying between him and Samantha (Luke’s sister) and not all of them positive. I’m looking forward to seeing these two go head to head in the next book.

So it’s all pretty much win, really! It's funny, it's sexy, it's romantic and swoony, and left me with a big, cheesy grin on my face. Definitely my favourite of the series so far! I loved it.

5 stars.

…“Do you know anything about football? he asks, delighted with me, and I glare at him.
“Of course I do.
“What position do I play? he asks.
“Is this a quiz?
“A little one.
 You're the quarterback.
“Who do I throw the ball to? He ushers me out of the elevator and then leans against a wall and crosses his arms over his chest.
“Another guy in a blue and green uniform. I respond confidently. “Usually,”

Oh, my! This was a good book!!! Really, this series keep getting better!
So this third book was the story of Jules older brother, Will, which is a famous football player, and Megan, a children’s nurse that went to college with Jules and Natalie.
She has trust issues, a tragic past and don’t want to let anyone in, but Will is a very persistent guy and is determined to make her his.

description

I loved how their relationship evolved how it was so difficult for Meg to open up and how Will treated her so damn well. She has a LOT of trust issues and it’s not easy for her to talk and show her feelings she’s afraid. It was great to see her deal with them and try to get past them.

description

I will not get long on this because it’s pretty much the same I’ve already said about the other books.
Great series, great characters, we get to see the old couples again so we don’t miss them and very good plots.
The cute romance and the sexy steam is all here and I dare to say that Will is my favorite so far. I loved him!

What can I say? Sometimes a girl just needs a good romance!

* * * * 1/2 Spoiler Free-Early 2013 Review
This is something that was so yummy, at times it had me howling with laughter than panting due to the steam factor. The characters were fleshed out to where you "got" them. The chemistry was off the charts from the very beginning and never let up.

There were plot points to keep you interested and all of the surrounding characters from the other books in this "With Me" group were there too. If you had read the series, you already were familiar; if you hadn't, there was enough information about all of them for it to be understandable.

Really a good read, enjoy

Weit... WHAT!!?

HELLO MONTGOMERY BOYS.

Kristen Proby's 'with me in seattle' series is like comfort food for my book soul. I'm glad I carried on with the series, this little beauty kept me all kinds of entertained and loved up.

Readers meet Will Montgomery your typical sports star hero, known for his womanising ways and non commitment to relationships ... that is until he meets the sweet cancer nurse, Meg McBride sassy, utterly loveable, beautiful and ... not a bit interested. Que the fireworks, panty dropping loving and chemistry. Get ready for a swoony story of unlikely lovers. *double sigh*.

If you like sexy, steamy and blush-worthy then you have come to the right place, but don't be fooled this author also serves gorgeously easy reading with fun, entertaining, charming, fall in love with characters. Will Montgomery is the PERFECT book character the best combo of alpha loving and sweet manly goodness. Girls you will NOT be disappointed with this family member. The author also very, very kindly gives us a taster of things to come with brilliant sub characters dotted throughout the book. I can't wait to meet them in future books.

If I was to have a little moan, it would be that this series tends to be a bit TOO NICE for my liking. (if thats possible)? The characters always get together too quickly, I'm a fan of sexual tension and my characters working towards their relationship, these books are wham bam thank you mam. BUT ... Still a good read and I know this author has a huge following ...

3.5 - 4 (more towards 4) stars, a HUGE book crush on the Montgomery boys and an over excitement about Leo and Samantha's story due out in MAY!

Hero is cute, protective, passionate ... a pity that men like that only exist on paper!
Their drunken scene was hilarious.
Liked and recommend it!

Mmmmmmm... Will.

Meg was hysterical when how she first judged Will, but he soon turned that around on her. She couldn't resist and who could. He was sweet, thoughtful, romantic and protective. Barely ever wanted to be away from Meg, and got her issues with commitment. They had some hot scenes. I thought I was going to explode a couple of time...

description

And when I thought of Will this is what I saw...

description

Meg's upbringing was terrible and with Will and the Montgomery's coming into her life, she finally has the family she's always wanted and brought the only family she ever loved back into her life.

description

When she finally let go, I was so happy for the story. She almost lost everything again, but she was strong enough to fight her fears and go for it. Great story of perseverance and love on both of their parts.

I love a Kristen Proby hero for the same reason I love a Kristen Ashley hero. These boys are not pussyfooting around. They know what they want—our heroines-- and they go after it. No commitment phobia amongst these boys, no running (with the glaring exception of one—Hawk Delgado, I’m mean mugging YOU), no game-playing. It’s refreshing.

I wasn’t expecting to like Will Montgomery as much as I did. After Meg’s reaction to him in the last book, I was assuming he’d made some unforgiveable douchebag mistake and I was pleasantly surprised when the misunderstanding was resolved quickly. Meg is a character you cannot help but love. She’s beautiful, she’s quirky, she has a fabulous work ethic and she is a truly caring, empathetic woman. The kids in her unit at the hospital pulled at my heartstrings.

Will Montgomery. He’s not Nate. He’s not a tall, dark and HOT tatted-up former MMA fighter. He IS a tall, blonde and built quarterback with a good heart and some mad skills in the bedroom. He’s patient with our Megan, who’s a little bit damaged. He treats her like a princess without stepping on her ABUNDANT pride. I do love my Nate—he will probably always be my series favorite, badass that he is—but Will edged him out in the dirty talk department. Oh, how I love a dirty talking man. Nate and Jules hopped in bed on page ONE of the last book, so there was no build-up, no tension. Fuck tension--Will created FRICTION. Love that he made her stick to her “rule. LOVED the things that man can do with powdered sugar…and an ice cube..and in the rain, on the hood of a Shelby.. Oh. My. Word.

There is a scene in the book where Caleb and Matt—Will’s brothers—are shuttling the drunken bachelorettes home prior to Jules wedding. It is one of the FUNNIEST scenes I have ever read. Having five brothers myself, I can imagine the guys mortification in hearing about their sisters sexual escapades. HOW DO YOU SPELL PUSSY?

Sam and Leo are up next, and I think Leo’s bout to get brought down a peg or two off his arrogant rock star high-horse by our Sam. The tension is building between Caleb and Brynna, too, and I CANNOT wait for that eruption. If anyone has the power to knock Nate off his pedestal, it’s badass, broody-hot Navy SEAL Caleb..

I swear each book in Kristen's With Me in Seattle series gets hotter as we go along, I didn't think it was possible for me to love any of the men in her books more than Nate BUT I was WRONG! Will is fun and playful but he also has a strong sensitive side which we see a lot of here. He cares and worries about everyone he loves and for that you can't help but fall in love with him. It's easy to see how Meg fell, once she let herself. I wanted to dislike Meg simply because she was with Will and I was jealous, I admit but I couldn't. She was fab-u-lous! I loved her fiesty-ness, sense of humor and her dirty mouth. Her and Will's personalities complemented each other perfectly. Their relationship was fun and playful like them which I really liked and any issues they encountered they talked about and worked thru like adults...their relationship was also full of A LOT of hot moments like this

I kind of felt like this about Will Montgomery at times

The sex between these two was like no other there was

and

and

but my favorite moment was when Meg was finally able to tell Will how she felt about him

If you've read the previous books in the series you will not be disappointed by Play With Me and if you haven't I can't recommend them enough!

This was another easy read and a cute addition to the With Me in Seattle series. I really enjoyed it!

After getting several glimpses of Will throughout the past books I was really looking forward to getting the youngest Montgomery brother’s story. Especially after seeing the epic DENY Meg gave him at the end of the last book. Ha, poor Will, he definitely wasn’t expecting that. Don’t worry, Will is definitely not lacking in self-confidence
"When I take you, you’ll know exactly what we’re doing, what you’re feeling, and I won’t stop until your legs are shaking and the neighbors know my name.

This book is told mostly in Megan’s POV, but there are a few surprise scenes/chapters in Will’s POV Yay! Meg was a rock chick in her college years when she became friends with Natalie and Jules, but she is now a pediatric nurse in the cancer care unit. Her and Will cross paths now that she’s rekindled her friendship with his sisters, but that’s not the only connection Meg has to Will. For years, she’s been putting in requests to have the Seahawk football star come visit her kids and the hospital, but has been continuously denied. This has no doubt left a bad taste in her mouth and fed her thoughts that he’s just a self-centered athlete.

After a hot bathroom run-in, they both know they have an undeniable pull toward each other, but Meg isn’t going to let Will off that easily. She really makes him prove himself because she is not interested in being another football groupie to him. It’s really clear to everyone but Meg just how determined Will is to have a relationship with her. And in true Kristy Proby style, the man isn’t afraid to lay it all out there rather quickly.
“What, exactly, do you think I’m trying to pursue here, Megan? If I just wanted to fuck you and bail, I would have backed off as soon as you told me no at my sister’s party. He shakes his head and pushes his pizza away.
“I just… I begin, but he interrupts me, not hearing me.
“Yes, it’s early, but fuck Megan, all I do is think about you. You’ve gotten under my skin. I want to learn your body. I want to know what it feels like to sink inside of you. He swallows hard and so do I as I squeeze my thighs together and feel myself go wet.
“But I also want to know what makes you laugh. What pisses you off. What you’re passionate about. I just want to learn everything about you. You’re in my head, and I haven’t felt this way in a long time. Jesus, I don’t give shout-outs to women during every game for fuck sake.

I have to say, I LOVE Will! He is so much fun and at times comes off arrogant, but he has the biggest heart. Megan didn’t come from an amazing family like Will’s so she has some understandable walls up. Her mom is absolutely awful. She’s a junkie, a leech, just the worst. Meg grew up without any support or love and moved through many foster homes before finally becoming emancipated at 16. She’s used to people letting her down and leaving so it’s a big issue in her relationship with Will to let him in completely.
God, there’s just so much running through me. So much in my head. I’m so sad about […], and afraid of losing Will, yet afraid of loving him too. And I’m so fucking tired of being afraid of losing something, someone, important to me.

Will continues to prove himself and is incredibly patient with her, even when I wanted to smack her. He understands Megan without her having to explain things to him and it broke my heart at times.
“Will, you scare the fuck out of me. His eyes widen briefly, and then he exhales and closes them. He chuckles softly as he leans in and rests his lips against my own. “Megan, you exasperate me, and turn me on, and make me crazy. He kisses me softly, brushing his lips across mine, and gently combs his fingers through my hair. “Don’t you see what I feel for you? Can’t you feel it when I make love to you? The way I look at you? Jesus, Meg, you’re all I see. You’re all I want.

I really liked how everything progressed and how Megan's rocker tie-ins played out. I liked that Meg made Will work for it, so there is a reprieve from the sex scenes toward the beginning. It’s typically of this series to have a TON of them, and I have to say even though they are steamy, I find myself skimming them sometimes because there are atleast one in just about every single chapter. I say this every time, but I love getting more of the family together and this book was no exception. It just got BETTER! Put Jules, Natalie, Samantha, Brynna, and Megan completely shit faced in a car with the brothers Caleb and Matt and you get a recipe for some HILARIOUS inappropriate moments. I felt so bad for those two boys listen to their sisters (for the most part) talk about sex and orgasms. LOL!

I’m looking forward to diving into the next book soon. I’m looking forward to some hot, sexy rocker in Leo (Meg’s adoptive brother) and Samantha, who I think is a total bitch but I kind of like her even more so because of that. They’ve already had a few verbal spats and I think it could be a good sign of awesome banter to come!

"Holy muscled body, Batman."

Seriously pee-your-pants funny!
"Dude, you got her?" Caleb asks.
"Yeah, I got her," Will confirms.
"Who you got?" I ask.
"You, drunk girl, Come on." He turns to lead me towards the exit, and I start to follow him, but for some reason my feet don't work very well.
"Um, Will?"
"Yeah?"
"I lost my feet."
"What?" he laughs and pinches the bridge of his nose.
"I can't find my feet."
Why is everyone laughing at me? This is serious!

I am in love with the entire freaking clan! Matt was just flippin' delicious! I think I smiled, laughed and swooned during every page of this book.

We get to meet Matt in this one and we finally get to learn why Meg can't stand him. But after a few sweet gestures she is completely swept up. Meg is a nurse who has a history of being left and is not one who gives her love or trust easily. But Matt wants her, all of her - but for more than just sex. These Montgomery men are going to be the death of me!

I still don't know if anything can beat the Nat & Luke story but this came close for me. I've had a bit of a soft spot for Matt for a while and who does not love a hot football star?

He is sweet, demanding and sexy as all hell. I can't wait to get the story of Sam & Leo and hopefully a bit of closure on a HEA for Will and Meg. I could totally just keep reading their story forever. I want them married with cute little babies! Although the hint at Matt being into a bit of kink has me wishing his story was next.

Kristen Proby has created the perfect men, and this series has every single one of them. I want to move into these books and never leave, especially with these guys!

"I will take you over my knee and spank the hell out of you. Do you understand me? You turn me inside out. I want to fuck you seven shades of Sunday, and I want to make long, slow, sweet love to you for days. I'm craving you, goddamn it, and you can't just say shit like that to me when I know what you taste like, and what you look like and I need desperately to know what the fuck you feel like"

"When I take you, you'll know exactly what we're doing, what you're feeling, and I wont' stop until your legs are shaking and the neighbors know my name."

"We aren't going to fuck, Meg. Even when it's hard and fast or a little rough or a lot dirty, I'm not fucking you. In the kitchen, in the bedroom, on my car, or any damn where I want to take you, will not be fucking. Fucking is for Strangers or people who don't give a shit about each other."

The drunk conversations in this have to be one of the best parts! These ladies are killing me!

6 ridiculously romantic stars!!

It's official. Kristen Proby is the QUEEN of feel-good, angst-free, romance! This series (thus far) has managed to find just the right balance of sweet romance, with hot and heavy sexy-times.

And Will Montgomery? I thought it would be impossible to surpass Luke as my favorite KP hero, but well...Will is just about my idea of the perfect romantic hero (and man).

This book was exactly what I needed, and I flew through it in less than 24 hours.

I love how simple KP's stories are. And I don't mean simple as in boring with nothing going on. I mean KP tells the kind of love stories that are so damn hard to find these days; stories that are (mostly) free of angst and needless drama. I love reading about a couple who are in love and don't have a million and one things pop up out of no where to keep them from being together. No psycho ex girl/boyfriends coming out of the woodwork. No deep dark secrets that threaten to destroy the lives of our everyone around them. Do the couples have things to work through? Yes. But they work through them...and it doesn't take 300 pages for them to do it. They have hurdles in their way, but they make their way around them and get on with their lives. I for one LOVE the fact that when a crisis pops up, KP usually have the characters deal with the problems head on and within a few chapters our couple are moving on to something else. This kind of simplistic kind of storytelling might not be for everyone, but I absolutely LOVE it. And wish I could find more authors like Kristen doing it these days.

Will & Meg's relationship was sweet, romantic, and oh so sexy. One of the things I ADORE about Will is the fact that he has absolutely no problem telling Meg (and everyone else) how he feels about her. I've seen some people say that the heroes in these books are just too good to be true and therefore not realistic. Well, I don't know about you, but, one of the reasons I love romantic fiction so much is because it can take me away from the overwhelming stresses of my day to day life and transport me into a world where men like Will Montgomery CAN exist, and and where an 'average' girl like Meg (in other words someone like me) can somehow steal his heart. That's why I keep coming back to romantic fiction, and that is why Kristen Proby is one of my favorite authors.

"You are not a dirty little secret," I murmur into her ear. "You are everything."

"Just the thought of you not being in my life is my undoing. When you feel safe enough to say what I know you feel, it will be the best moment of my life."

And those quotes (along with a bunch of others I could post), show why Will Montgomery is pretty much the perfect romantic hero. He's sweet, kind, funny, possessive and too damn sexy for words. And I am so grateful I got to spend some time with him. ;)

I can't recommend this book (and this series) highly enough!

Kristen Proby you can do no wrong. It just keeps getting better and better!

Now, I know I loved me some Nate, but Will...

description

"Oh, trust me, sugar, having your tight, naked ass cradled against my dick was damn alluring." He steps closer and tips my chin up with his fingers. "But I wouldn't take advantage of you when you don't have your wits about you. When I take you, you'll know exactly what we're doing, what you're feeling, and I won't stop until you legs are shaking and the neighbours know my name."
Holy Fucking hell.

I KNEW I liked Will :)

This series is so great. Love the family!

Megan is absolutely hilarious. The stuff out of her mouth had me in stitches (especially drunk Megan). Did not expect the tears to come. WHY did Megan have to be a pediatric oncology nurse? It hurts my heart thinking about kids who have to go through that.

I've said this before and I'll say it again-it takes a strong person to be with a famous person. To deal with the paparazzi, stalker fans, groupie fans, constantly being bugged while you are trying to eat, see a movie, or shop, and constantly hearing the whispers "oh my god, is that _______". Not to mention the press, agents, managers, sponsors, etc.

Megan meets Will at a burger joint where he's sitting with Jules who just happens to be Megan's friend from college. She turns him down when asking for her number. She doesn't care about his fame or fortune and thinks he's an arrogant ass.

Then she sees him again at Jules and Nate's engagement party and she gets drunk. Yep. DRUNK! Megan, Jules, and Natalie drunk together = good times. Add in Sam and you'll need stitches. So, she's drunk and can't get home so Will offers her to take her.

Will ends up being super nice and sweet and not the arrogant ass, but still, Megan has trust issues. There's no way Will is interested in her. Ever hear of the 3 date rule? Well, Megan as one :) It's fun to watch people squirm.

I love how protective Will is of Megan. It makes my heart all warm and fuzzy knowing she has that because she didn't have it growing up-except from Leo. Who's Leo? Well, basically, her brother but she hasn't seen or talked to him in years.

I just love Will and Megan together. I knew I loved Will before in the other books, but this made me love him even more. The story plays out well and well paced.

I want more Caleb! Holy smokes. Do I sense a Caleb and Brynna story in the near future?

I loved seeing Will''s POV told in this at just the right times. LOVED getting in his head.

I loved Will and Megan's story. Every page got better and better. I fell for Will since the beginning. He's hot, romantic and a "Football Star". Can't get better than that!

Meg is a smart independent woman who knows how to stand her ground.

The sex is hot and they just manage to pull it off anywhere and everywhere! His hands should totally come with a warning label!

This is totally my favorite from this series so far!

Now am off to see what's up with Leo and Samantha.
Stay tuned....

Thanks in-law for this 5 star series! love ya xx

I am a Huge fan of the Away With Me In Seattle series by Kristen Proby, LOVE LOVE LOVE this series and LOVE the Montgomery Family! I really can’t believe how this series keeps getting better and better with each new novel, I mean, how do you better perfection, right?!?!! The fourth installment in the series, Play With Me is Unbelievable and is now my new Favorite in this series! I could read this novel over and over again, oh wait, I think I have!

Megan is strong willed, hot headed and has some serious trust issues, once you meet her you’ll understand why. But she’s also full to the brim with love and I dare you not to fall completely in love with her character. Will is the pro football playing Montgomery brother. He is definitely the strong alpha type personality we all LOVE! But he is also a gigantic sexy, tender, teddy bear who takes care of those closest to him ... he will melt your heart. I thought that Nate was my man from this series but Will just kicked him into left field (still loves me some Nate thought, who doesn’t). They get off to a rocky start but Will won’t take no for an answer, the only problem is that he’s met his match in Megan! Can Megan learn to trust, and will Will wait for her.....

I absolutely love the way Kristen Proby has written the Montgomery family. If the Montgomery’s are based on a real family I want to meet them!! Play With Me gives more insight into the siblings as a group and I promise you, you will absolutely split a gut in a few scenes ;-) The connection felt between Megan and Will is genuine and will have you falling in love. Play With Me is a novel that has something for everyone, I roared with laughter, got all choked up and enjoyed some very HOT SEXY time ;-) Looking for a fabulous hot romance that you won’t be able to get enough of??? Play With Me by Kristen Proby IS your next read!!!

This book was a nice break, a sweet love story with little drama and a wonderful hero. It had many love scenes, not passionate or distinct enough for me so I end up skipping the last ones. And it really bothered/baffled me that H/h never mentioned or used protection, as if STDs and pregnancies don't exist...
