DI Adams #2

Trouble Brewing in Harrogate

Rate this book
This beer festival’s going off with a bang

A call from an old colleague has DI Adams off her patch and out of her depth, investigating a mysterious new beer with unexpected side effects. Side effects far more dangerous than a simple hangover.

Deadly brewers. Super-powered DJs. Raging florists.

And it’s not just them. Half the police in Yorkshire have fallen for the beer’s spell, and Adams is barely keeping a step ahead. If she doesn’t figure this out before festival opening night the whole county will be under the influence of Niddered Ale, and there’ll be no sobering up from it.

Not ever.

But she’s got her invisible dog, her trusty duck, and her really big stick. Plus she’s just dying to arrest someone.

If she can get past those superpowers and stay out of jail, of course

###

This is book two in the DI Adams Mysteries, although it could also be book three when one counts the prequel, What Happened in London. (I'm a writer, not a mathematician, okay?) But check out All Out of Leeds for the first of Adams' Yorkshire adventures.

The DI Adams Mysteries contain no graphic violence, scenes of a sexual nature, or strong language, but they do contain some blasphemy, as well as a truly disturbing level of caffeine consumption.

Hello lovely people!

I’m Kim (as you may have guessed, given that you're on the author page for Kim). I write funny fantasies and off-beat cosy (or cozy, depending where you're from) mysteries set in a world not so dissimilar to ours - and in fact sharing many locations.

And in this not-dissimilar world you'll find mystery-solving dragons with a strong affection for barbecues and scones, and snarky feline PIs with human sidekicks. You'll run across baking-obsessed reapers running petting cafes stocked with baby ghouls, Apocalyptic riders on Vespas, and women of a certain age Getting Things Done. There may even be the odd born-again troll redefining troll-ness for the modern age about the place.

You'll find myth and reality clashing in small and spectacular ways, and discover the healing magic of tea and a really good lemon drizzle cake.

But, most of all, there will be friendship, and loyalty, and people of all species looking out for one another. Because these, above all things, are magic.

And you can find me rambling on about all this (and more) over on my website, or join me on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for bad puns and many, many cat memes. Many.

Come join me!

IN A NUTSHELL
This was an entertaining mix of mystery, magic, mild riot and gentle humour. It was a relaxing read that kept me engaged and curious and made me smile. There aren't many books that can manage that, but Kim Watt made it seem effortless.

I've been on a bit of a Kim Watt binge for the past six months. I've tried three of her series and the DI Adams ones are my favourite. DI Adams has been a character in the cosy-mysteries-with-Dragons-and-the-village-W.I.- ladies Beaufort Scales Mysteries but I've enjoyed watching her operate outside of Toot Hansell in 'What Happened In London' and 'All Out Of Leeds'. I like Adams' pragmatism and her determination to impose order (arrest people) even when faced with non-human magical creatures that she'd rather not have to accept the existence of. I've been amused by her slow, reluctant slide into being THE police officer who everyone knows is the one who deals with the weird stuff so no one else has to be contaminated by it.

In 'Trouble Brewing In Harrogate', Adams has transferred from Leeds to Skipton, has a partner who, courtesy of the events in 'Yule Be Sorry' and by way of having an aunt who is a member of the Toot Hansell W.I,, knows a little about the magical Folk who most people fail to see, and she has a new boss who is more tolerant of her extra duties.

I liked that Adams struggles almost as much with the realities of being a rural police officer as she does with her deepening involvement with the Folk. Both world's are alien to her and both of them are environments she'd wouldn't normally choose to spend time in.

The plot revolves around a beer festival in Harrowgate where beer from a local craft beer brewery is causing the locals, includingÌýlocalÌýpolice officers of all ranks, to behave in bizarre and often violent ways. I loved the side effects of the beer, especially what happened to the DJ. I know I should feel sorry for him but, hey, he was a local radio DJ so I thought his curse was well deserved.Ìý

I like that the DI Adams' stories are a little edgier, a little more violent, and a little more complicated than theÌýBeaufort Scales Mysteries. By the last quarter of 'Trouble Brewing In Harrowgate', the nature of the Folk involved was clear but I was still deeply curious about what the bad guys were trying to achieve and how theyÌýwere going toÌýpull it off. There was also a slowly escalating sense of threat, albeit one offset by the increasingly bizarre behaviour of various senior police officers. The resolution worked for me. It wrapped up the details and moved Adams on as a character.Ìý

I had a good time with this book. I understand that there'll be another book later this year. I'm already looking forward to it.

In the meantime, I'll be reading some DI Adams short stories that are available as free downloads from Kim Watt's website.

Another whimsical Kim M. Watt tale. Beware who is brewing the ale and for what reasons. Watt has introduced a new character that may be entering into DI Adams life. Adams elected not to have cat, Thompson, wipe newbie, Rory's, memories. Then again, it seems Rory's mother was a witch. Once again, the worlds of humans and "Folk" mingle across the mysterious boundary of what seems to be and what is.

Watt's series build on previous books, though they can be read as stand alone stories. Fun stuff.

Watt promises more of DI Adams in 2025. I look forward to it.

I read this as an ARC reader and this is an honest review.

Kim has done it again!
Another fast-paced, funny, can't-put-down read!

This is DI Adam's third book (it's labelled as number two but DI Adam's has a prequel in London) based in Harrogate, although she's supposed to be policing the Shipton area rounding up sheep and trying to find a stud bull that had been taken, general policing.
Word, however annoying for Adam's, seems to have spread that she's the one to call for cases that don't quite seem normal and this leads her to Harrogate after a phone call asking for her help on a case that has PC James all in a worry over free artisan beer that has been given to the Leeds Station that is making the police act a little strangely. And Leeds Station is just the beginning!
Can DI Adam's and Co. work out what, where and why this is happening before it's too late?

In this book we meet new creatures up to no good, read about Dandy being helpful when he feels help is needed and not before all the coffee within range has been either eaten or drunk, Thompson makes an appearance begrudgingly helping for top-of-the-range fish goodies and we meet Rory, the handsome 'toff' except he really isn't and I'm so hoping that love is on the cards for Adam's with this one, he's perfect for her.

All in all a fantastic DI Adam's book with everything in it that you love from Kim. M. Watt!

Can't wait for the next book early next year.

Another winner from Kim M. Watt. I love the way she writes, you can picture it so clearly. DI Adams is a wonderful, smart character, and the story is a great mystery with humor infused. I recommend it highly.

I received this book as part of the ARC program. Trouble Brewing in Harrogate is, as always, well written. Ms Watt has a gift for description; I feel as if I have a good idea what Yorkshire looks and feels like. The plot and characters were fully developed, and I enjoyed the expanded participation of Dandy and Thompson. I look forward to more DI Adams books.
Once again, Amazon has not posted my review, so apologies to Ms Watt.

Ms Watt has done it again. Another rollercoaster ride mixing mystery, magic and mayhem with a seasoning of laugh out loud situations and conversations. DI Adams first appeared in Watt's "Beaufort Scales" Toot Hansell series as the long-suffering Police Detective who has to deal with a group of older women and dragons who are as determined to solve the crime as Miss Marple and preferably before the Police even get a look-in. Although the Toot Hansell WI and the dragons were the stars of those books, Adams was clearly at least their equal and frequently saved the day, leading to her getting her own series the first one being a prequel to her moving to Leeds ("What Happened in London") and the second one being "All Out of Leeds" the first stand-alone novel in the new series. You can start with this book if you want to, as Ms Watt does slide in reminders/catch-ups for those who can't remember or haven't read the previous books, but as I've remarked in reviews of other books in these series, you may miss out on some nuances. I received an ARC of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

After a number of experiences with "magical" beings and artefacts, DI Adams is looking forward to a future of ignoring the expanded reality of magical beings that the rest of us don't notice. She has left the Leeds force for the North Yorkshire Constabulary and begun to tackle a caseload with an unfortunate tendency towards contrary farm animals. Adopted by an invisible dog who is addicted to coffee and stealing food makes ignoring the magical world more difficult. And the more you see it the more aware you become - and the more it sees you.

Someone is making trouble: free beer samples with odd side effects super strength, weird behaviour, things that are very unlikely to be the result of some sort of ordinary contamination. Hunting down the brewery Adams, who doesn't believe in friends because relationships are messy, is forced to engage with a number of colleagues and non-colleagues to get to the bottom of things and find a solution, but the beer festival the potentially catastrophic oddness is building towards is only a few days away. Whether she likes it or not these people all consider they are her friends after all, who else would you ask to stand by you against werewolves and cursed beer? Dandy the invisible dog, Chloe the hedge witch from the Occult Onion, Thompson the Watch cat, DI Collins, Ervin the journalist, DC Hamilton (all previously featured in "All Out of Leeds" and/or the "Beaufort Scales" books) are all doing their best to help. And there is a new player Rory who owns the estate on which the brewery sits and seems far too nice, and weirdly unbothered by the mysterious goings on around Adams and her companions: is he a potential boyfriend? Or will he be a Giles to Adams' Buffy? And what is his mysterious profession that allows him to take over a rundown family estate and find the finance to build a load of industrial units and barn conversions when he is "between contracts"?

The book romps to a close, but ends with a feeling that this incident may only be the start, the first play of some Machiavellian mastermind bent on world domination today Wakefield, tomorrow the World!

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.

I absolutely loved this book. Although this book is labelled as the 2nd of DI Adams adventures, it’s actually the 3rd. Adams has moved from London following the incident under the bridge, to Leeds and has moved once again to Skipton in North Yorkshire, in Dale country.

She and Dandy, her invisible “devil dog are now partnered with DI Colin Collins and much of their time when not involved with “Toot Hansel type of crime they chase sheep and get chased by bulls.

There’s to be a beer festival in near by Harrogate and a new brewery is distributing its ale to the local populace, most especially to the police stations throughout the area. However anyone who drinks the beer is starting to exhibit odd behaviour, is something wrong with the beer? Has it become adulterated somehow? Adams and dandy are dispatched to investigate.

When they reach the brewery they are greeted by the local landowner who has rented space to the brewers who are friendly but just a bit “off. Distributing the beer seems
a friendly gesture but the increasing level of tension in the town is worrying. Adams and dandy are on the case.

This is a fast moving exciting often funny read with new members of the “folk introduced as well as old friends and new enemies. Adams and dandy are tested to their limits to keep the peace and keep members of the public safe. She needs everything in her arsenal to protect the public, her devil dog, her big stick her yorkies and her duck.

I love this series and am eagerly awaiting the next.

Oh what a treat is in store for you! Free beer! No strings attached! But be careful, the hangover is a doozy.

The second foray (well, technically third given What Happened in London) for our intrepid DI Adams. Despite claiming to not like the country, she’s to be found racing bulls in fields and taking on dry stone walls and gates like a parkour champion. However, before long, her DC from Leeds is asking for a little help with a something that feels just a little off.

Her name is getting around for specialising in “a little off and she’s none too happy about that either. Cue our favourite characters, Adams favourite invisible hound, her long suffering DS, Colin Collins, Isha the tech goddess of a Leeds, plus Chloe from the Occult Onion returns along with one or two new folks such as Rory whose eyebrows barely even raise to someone nearly blowing up his new kitchen.

And that’s before we even get started on the Beer Festival! You’ll never look at Harrogate the same ever again!

It’s another spectacular jaunt through Yorkshire, just make sure you have your Yorkies (no, not the terrier, the chocolate obviously!), your duck (and put that down!, it’s supposed to be on your keyring not filched from the canal), and a very big stick. (Okay, yes the mop will do!)

Tension and humor in a perfect liaison

What a great book, I totally love it!

As usual with Kim M. Watt's books tension, humor and heartwarming descriptions of landscape and people are brewed together in a perfect way.

We get to know DI Adams more and more, watch her grow personally and in her special profession....and it is really worth getting to know her and the other characters of this book more.

The case isn't easily solved and there stay some small uncertainties which I am longing to get solved in the books to come.

More I do not want to tell, because I don't want to diminish your reading experience.

I am grateful for this story, which is brilliantly written and never forgets the importance of friendship, loyality & caring for the people around you, whether they are your friends or not. Just because it is right to do so.

This message never looses its significance.

I was lucky and got a free advanced readers copy, otherwise I would have bought it as soon as possible (as I have done with other books of Kim M. Watt).

So: Brew yourself a good cuppa (Yorkshire gold tea by Taylors of Harrogate fits well here ;o) ) or a coffee, just what you like, get some cookies and then: Enjoy reading, you won't regret it.

I received this copy as an ARC reader, and here is my honest review.

Although the beginning seemed a little slow - compared to other books by the author - once we oozed out of the fields and into relatively mud-free ground (briefly), the pace picked up.

Great detail is paid to the landscape giving evocative glimpses into various parts of the Yorkshires. It has certainly given me a different view of Harrogate - figuratively and literally. Being born and raised in West Yorkshire, Harrogate was always regarded with certain awe as being POSH...now, boy, do we know different! It's full of weirdness, beer of an equally weird sort and topping the trifecta are the stalwart (weird) police force. To be fair, they do their best, but without DI Adams, her predominantly invisible 'canine', a lippy feline and assorted cohorts, they wouldn't have stood a chance.

However, to find out how, why and definitely what transpired, you'll have to read Trouble Brewing in Harrogate yourselves, and thoroughly enjoy it. As I did! But please, rubber ducks must stay on your person at all times, a big stick will also prove useful too!

Yes, another 5 star rating, and no, I have not been coerced, bought or encouraged in any other way than through reading the book.
Another book by Kim where you just want to clear your schedule, tell everyone to bugger off for a few days so you can virtually travel to Yorkshire and immerse yourself in the story.
And it was another good one. Great story, always some of these terrifying moments where you worry that this time she's really done it and there is no way out, but there was, although never an easy one. Crisis averted, problem solved, with help, but still some mystery remains..... maybe for a next book?
Great new character: the unflappable Rory, and hopefully we'll see more of him, and his Border Collies.
Loved the humour, the coffee, Dandy, and the other characters.
Thanks, Kim, you did it again!

One thing though: I will never look at artisan/craft beer the same way again. No, I'll look at it suspiciously.....
But then again I'm not in Yorkshire, so I should be ok, right? No really, right???

Magic and mind-altering ale in Yorkshire

Detective Inspector Adams has transferred from Leeds to a small rural district of the North Yorkshire Police. No matter how far north she transfers she continues to be sucked into cases involving the “Folk. This is the second book in the DI Adams mystery series.

Adams and her new partner DI Collins investigate when colleagues act oddly after imbibing Niddered Ale. Many townspeople are sampling the ale and exhibiting strange behaviour. The upcoming beer festival will feature the ale. Somehow, they need to figure out what is wrong with Niddered Ale before opening night. Or it will be a riot! Managing this while dodging the affected constabulary to avoid arrest will be challenging.

Trouble Brewing in Harrogate is full of madcap magic, mind-altering ale, and Dandy the invisible demon dog. Humorous but slightly darker than her related series, Beaufort Scales (dragon cozy mysteries), which I also love. Keep your Yorkie bars close and prepare for fun and magic ahead!

Thank you to the author for a digital ARC.

This second installment in the DI Adams series has all the wit, humour and utter chaos that are Ms Watt's hallmarks. There's also an abundance idylic of Yorkshire scenery and it's associated manure, normal people developing strange 'superpowers', many cups of coffee (some of which mysteriously vanish), an invisible dog (possibly linked to the vanishing coffee), and one DI gaining an unwanted reputation for handling the cases that seem a little 'off'. When free samples of a new beer are delivered to Yorkshire notables ahead of a beer festival, strange things start happening and it falls to DIs Adams and Collins to investigate and put a stop to the dsatardly scheme before it's too late. Along the way they are helped (and hindered) by friends old and new, cause a few explosions, discover if they can run faster than a bull, and in a tumultus and hilarious climax save the day.

I received an ARC and leave an honest review.

DI Adams seems to have got used to Yorkshire and its small towns and countryside after leaving London and its disturbing bridges behind. This is an action-packed, unnerving tale of dubious beer and a few werewolves added for sheer terror. I was on the edge of my seat fretting about the chances of the "baddies" getting the upper hand, especially when she no longer has a big stick and a duck. (Good job there were Yorkie bars in her bag.) Fortunately having an invisible dog and a talking cat, as well as a hedge witch around makes the battle more even.

Added to the sheer excitement of the plot, Kim yet again gives us some of the best descriptions of the countryside and the weather I have read. I could really see Harrogate and Knaresborough through her writing. Splendid stuff and I think we may meet "posh" Rory, the impoverished landowner in the future.

Time for a re-read very soon to savour it all.

I am a big fan of all Kim M. Watt’s series, but I think the new DI Adams Mystery Series (and Trouble Brewing in Harrowgate) is my new favorite! I enjoyed DI Adams when she appeared in the Beaufort Scales books and now in their own books. It was fun seeing Adams developing leadership and a few interpersonal skills. It might be entertaining if Adams and someone continue their connection. It was fun too that another person experienced some personal growth. In this book their personality is fully fleshed out and they too are developing leadership skills in their independent scenes. While reading this as an American, none of the towns are familiar to me, but it was enjoyable having the story set somewhere different than before. I also like that the new books are not quite as frivolous as the previous series. I received a free copy of this book from the author and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This drew me in right from the start, a very unexpected start for DCI Adams I think! I’ll say no more on that subject, you’ll find out when you read it!
It was funny and exciting all at the same time, with good old Dandy the Devil Dog being his usual frustrating but loveable self. And Thompson the talking cat was his usual aloof, sarcastic self, well it wouldn’t be the same if he wasn’t.
All the usual great characters from the first book were there and the new one’s were fun and interesting.
I almost thought a bit of romance was in the air for a while too.
The plot was immersive and enjoyable while the main antagonist Marcus gave the story quite an unexpected turn.
The end was satisfying and all the way through the comic element was almost slapstick sometimes.
Kim’s books always deliver, They are fun and always have great relatable characters.
If you’ve never read any of her books, start now, you’ll be thoroughly entertained.

I’ve been anxiously awaiting the next adventure in the world of DI Adams and I tore through “Trouble Brewing in Harrogate in record time. Begrudging every minute I had to spend away from reading ( really devouring) it. Adams and Dandy and Collins and yes Thompson are neck deep in trouble of the “Folk sort and desperately trying to deal with some tampered (charmed) ale that proves likely to send the dales if not the world into chaos and destruction. But why? The book was over way too soon and I’m left wanting more! There are more fascinating characters and places and situations in every new book along with our already favorites. I love the carryover between several series, although you needn’t have read the others to enjoy this one. It’s a lot more fun if you do though 🙂. Buy them read them! You’ll never regret it 😉

I was a bit disappointed Adams didn’t get to use her big stick, it may have come in handy. However, with the help of Dandy, Thompson, Collins, Chloe, the duck and a few others she manages (just about) to deal with the mayhem caused by some dodgy beer, and some unusual mercenaries. This all takes place in the usually well-behaved town of Harrogate and the surrounding areas of Yorkshire, most of which aren’t really officially on Adam’s “patch which causes it’s own problems. Fast paced and literally unputdownable, late night/ early morning reading obligatory as I couldn’t leave her hanging like that. I will need to read it again soon in case I missed something but that will be a joy not a hardship. As usual I am left with reader’s regret as I read it too fast and now have longer to wait until the next adventure, in the meantime I wonder what those cake loving dragons are up to.

This latest tale about DI Adams certainly packs in plenty of action as our hero tackles a batch of curiously supernatural beer and its weird side effects. It is set in the delightful town of Harrogate and its beer festival. Ms Watt paints a lovely picture of the town and its environs.
Her characters are as well drawn and intriguing as ever. We learn a good deal more about Thompson the Watch cat. Moreover, there's a newcomer on the interesting people list with Posh Bloke Rory who has an interest in an ailing and crumbling country house. He also has more than a mild interest in Ms Adams.
I'm not going to go into any more detail though. It is always too risky - one can easily stray into Spoilerville!
Suffice to say that this is a cracking read and probably the best of the DI Adams series so far. Enjoy...

Kim has done it again with another rollicking read which I read through with so much excitement the first time - I HAD to know what happened, then read again straight away to pay attention to the small lovely details which make these books so enjoyable. DI Adams is becoming ‘known now for her ability to uncover what’s really going on. DI Colin Collins is getting dragged more and more into the ‘other. I still want a Dandy.
I particularly enjoyed the inclusion of old friends and new in this book. The descriptions of the climatic scenes were so well crafted, I could see it all in my minds eye.
There aren’t many authors that I wait for the next book with so much anticipation, but Kim is one, and delivers joy, humour and satisfaction in equal parts.

I do love Kim Watts storytelling style and how well she embeds the stories into Yorkshire's cities and countryside. This is more of a countryside one, despite DI Adams being a dyed in the wool Londoner - though DI Adams is a bit disconcerted to find that she is starting to feel at home in the countryside - what is the world coming to? She even gets on well with the posh tweed and sheep dogs manager of a dilapidated country house and estate where the troublesome brewery is built. Really pleased to see both Thompson and Dandy get their paws stuck in - and noses.
Love the name of the beer, and all the chaos it causes in police stations and the beer festival. What happens in the florists tent is just surreal. Keep them coming.

"Stop, or I'll use my duck!" DI Adams investigates an upcoming beer festival when one of the participating breweries starts distributing early samples to all and sundry, with some unexpected side effects. She, with her few teetotalling coworkers, Dandy, and Thompson, must figure out what's going on before the Toot Hansell strangeness covers all of North Yorkshire with assorted mayhem. Do they find the who, why, and how and get everything back to what passes for normal? Not entirely, but at least nobody gets hurt (permanently). And, she finds her duck has another trick up its wing.
If you like the Rivers of London's take on modern Britain with a paranormal twist, you'll love this series.

2024 bk 157 - DI Adams is back again, impressing one and all with her warmth and friendliness (well maybe not so much), but she is again wrapped up in a mystery not on her own turf because of the strangeness of the events. A local beer festival is endangered when a group of .... make a brew that releases certain inhibitions in those who drink it and their test subjects are the local police and any in authority. Needless to say the small community of Harrogate is seeing more fights and arguments than Liverpool after a football game. This book had me laughing out loud, chuckling, snickering, snorting, giggling - heck the entire gamut of laughter at the events and the folks affected. What a fun read!

Kim Watt's second installment in the DI Adams series is a fantastic spin-off from her Beaufort Scales series. The character development is stunning, with existing characters evolving beautifully and new, intriguing ones making their debut. Watt’s chaotic and hilarious fight scenes are becoming more intricate and filled with humour. She seamlessly introduces concepts from her Gobbelino London series, and though those characters haven’t appeared yet, they’re tantalizingly hinted at in an additional short story. Fans will be eagerly anticipating more crossovers. I love all her series and have even tried some of her baking recipes.

An enchanting read! DI Adams has a very strange case, needing her unwanted magical powers. There’s a new brew of beer causing weird side effects being given out around several of the N Yorkshire towns. When it is drunk, the person develops enhanced powers, for instance if strong, getting stronger, if a bully, getting worse & a lot of these people are police who seem to have been targeted. Then a witch goes to investigate & is disappeared at the brewery concerned. The book has been very carefully crafted as things get more & more involved & magic is definitely needed to sort things out as there is a big beer festival going on in Harrogate.

Another great story featuring DI Adams, her “devil Dandy dog, DI Collins, and the snarky Thompson, among others. When the effects of a new beer are far worse (and stranger) than a hangover, DI Adams, now known to deal with the “off cases, gets pulled into a magical plot that’s targeting the police in advance of the Beer Festival, where the brew will ultimately be consumed by the general public. As tension and violence erupt, Adams and her crew must find an antidote, stop the perpetrators, find out who is responsible, and why. Landowner Rory Acklesfield joins the group, and fits right in with the rest of these clever, funny characters; I can’t wait to see what they get up to next.

Great read!

Kim M Watt only keeps getting better! I love the continuing story of DI Adams, her sidekick DI Collins and the wonderful and mysterious invisible dog Dandy.

All is not well at the annual Beer Festival. People are acting strange, becoming suspicious and even violent. DI Adams must find out the cause before the final night of the festval can dump the whole town into chaos.

With a full compliment of witches, werewolves, and a strange but terrifying invisible dog. And stay away from the beer!

Great characters, excellent pacing and some more Dandy hints.

Highly recommended! Can't wait for the next book!

I was given an ARC in return for an honest review.

Kim has done it again!

What a wonderful book! Though listed as the second book featuring DI Adams, this is actually the third in the series. Fans of the clever, strong ladies from Toot Hansel—and their dragons and other magical creatures—will already be familiar with Adams from previous stories.

Once again, Adams and her team have their hands full, and Dandy the Devil Dog and Thompson the Cat must team up to provide much-needed support because rogue werewolves are no small problem.

I’ve always loved Kim's books, but this one is, without a doubt, the best in the Adams series so far.

I can hardly wait for the sequel!

I'm REALLY enjoying the DI Adams series!!!

What happens when FREE beer hits the police station and other business's???

Things start going absolutely pear shaped!

People get super powers, others can nearly break the Web.

But then the violence starts to stir, all from supping Niddered Ale?

Something's a foot and seems like Adams, Collins and Dandy and others have their hands full.

I LOVE the writing of Adams and the insight's we get with her getting deeper and deeper with the Fae.

Can't wait for more.............PLEASE.
