You can definitely get some spiritual knowledge from this book but the author herself seems rather cult leader-ish, targeting survivors of abuse. I googled her a few chapters into the book and there were investigations into her that found she never went through satanic abuse, child trafficking and the other awful things she has claimed to have gone through. Kinda upset me that someone would lie about things like that and it ruined the whole book for me personally:( Just my opinion

This is a sacred interactive experience, not just a book. Buy this if you feel a pull to it.

As a student of A Course in Miracles, and having some knowledge and interest in things like birth chart astrology, quantum physics, cosmology, energy healing modalities, and spiritual physics, I feel as if I was perfectly prepared for the experiences of the initiations contained within this book.

The word initiation simply means "spiritual truth + physical experience". The word "ceremony" is interchangeable here. An initiation is meant to be a rich experience with Truth, which is more than just hearing ideas and thinking about them.

Experiencing the truths in the Sophia Code through the eight initiations in the book allowed me to have several profound healing experiences which unlocked me from recurring negative patterns I've been in for fifteen years. Put simply, my heart healed in a significant way as I created a sacred intentional space in my mind and my apartment to sit and fully immerse myself in the words of the initiations. I've read and worked through the year-long series of meditations in A Course in Miracles, and the Sophia Code helped me click deeper into believing who I really am in a way where I don't have to meditate and focus inward so hard to remember my true self enough to stay feeling it palpably in my body. If you are a student of ACIM, you will be comforted by many words, phrases, and concepts that are either exactly from the Course, or in alignment with it. I feel these Ascended Masters working together in these channeled sacred books to weave the Universal Curriculum in beautiful ways.

My advice: buy this book if you feel pulled to it in any way. Then begin reading it when it feels right. Follow the suggestions to create some kind of private, sacred, intentional space in which to read each chapter and complete each initiation. I am a very inward person, very spiritual, and am unaccustomed to new-age-y "ceremonies". I'm not big into crystals, but I had a couple laying around, so I grabbed those and put them around me in a way that I liked, having no idea what I was doing. I sat on a buchwheat-filled zafu I got on Amazon years ago, which I bought for meditation. And I listened to the audio book and read the ebook on my phone at the same time. I had a profound experience I can't begin to explain. Allow your mind to imagine the things which are presented, and of your imagination goes astray, just come back to your body sensations and come back to a more basic image in your mind and you feel the sensations and ideas together.

I'm grateful I was led to buy this book. There is reference in the book to further initiations to be revealed later. After being led to books like the Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ, Anna Grandmother of Jesus, Great Minds Spreak to You, The Magdalene Manuscript, Jesus My Autobiography, and others, I have developed a yearning for the teachings of the ancient mystery schools. This book, the Sophia Code, was an answer to my prayers. I'm sensitive to the "authority" and sensitivity of channeled writings, and I can only share my sense that Kaia has indeed received this book from Sophia, and that she is a clear enough channel in the English language that the messages aren't bring changed by her ego.

I was introduced to the Gnostic faith a couple of months ago and was immediately intrigued. With this came my first connection with Sophia. Shortly after I learned about her this book came into my path. Synchronicity.

The author Kaia Ra describes a divine experience with Sophia Gaia and claims that the words in this book were Sophia's channeled through her. Whether or not you believe her, this book still comes as a great expression of love and light.

I looked forward to reading it each day, because every time I picked it up, it made me feel better. I fell into the visualizations of the initiations and felt the downpour of divine love.

I feel I've been touched by Sophia and have a renewed sense of purpose to raise the light in the world and to protect the Earth. It's time. We need a golden age if we are to survive the darkness that's threatening to take over.

I was trying to remain open-minded when recommended this book, but I couldn’t avoid how ungrounded this book felt from the start. my intuition picked up on what was later validated by reading a bit more into the author and hearing how others had experienced the book, too. I feel there is healing potential here, but it could’ve been written without cultural appropriation, abusive marketing and hot word writing disguised as a self-proclaimed sacred text.

Here’s a well-researched article that revealed a lot for me and confirmed some of my initial skepticisms; . It feels disheartening that someone would lie about their traumatic experience to create an even more miraculous guise for themself. This is a red flag imo.

I am also always skeptical to read from authors who are not of the lineages they write about (or haven’t at least studied deeply under someone devoted to these lineages).

It’s frustrating to see someone abusing a place of healing and a position of privilege and power - the ventures of the author beyond this book feel even more ungrounded in what the world needs beyond the surface and what she herself is proclaiming in the book.

Even if the author’s intentions were to create a supportive text and it has touched the lives of many, are we willing to overlook the disinformation, narcissism, and cult-like behaviors to reach some whitewashed version of ‘ascension? It feels more like nicely branded spiritual bypassing to me. While there is potential in some pieces of this text, the roots of it all feels unsafe and unwholistic. Embodied healing and harm reduction happens through the body, mind and spirit together.

Whether the abuse via taking advantage of vulnerable group of people that she markets to (aka all of us who have experienced trauma, are seeking healing support, etc) is conscious or not, it’s certainly not living up to the true nature of the divine she claims to be a prophet of.

I’ll think twice about reading a book so focused on ascension in the future when we’re in a time where the Earth needs us more than ever to be present with what’s here in our bodies & on the planet’s body.

Escapism disguised as transcendence isn’t the answer.

There is a world of energy and spirit tied into us that is a vital part of it all, but if we begin from an ungrounded place this is how dangers seep in and deter us from unified and embodied being. In all, this book feels disembodied, in my opinion.

I don’t mean to discredit those who resonated with the work, but it’s important to be aware of the full picture and hold people accountable in this age of fast and branded information.

Made it through 3% of this poorly-written garbage. It looked and felt completely fake and to serve the writer’s ego. It’s clearly a marketing ploy, I’ve read material and memoirs where the author was clearly channeling something bigger, seemingly without noticing. It was my first ever Kindle return. Wordy, confusing, unproductive, and pretentious. Don’t waste your time, folks.

Y’know…I have wanted so badly to be able to get into this book since I first bought it over a year ago. Every time I pick it up to try to read further it just stirs some really dark, gross feeling within me. A white woman who claims to be a medicine woman and encourages readers to appropriate closed indigenous practices? No thanks, I’m done trying to force this book upon myself. Odds are if you’re part of the BIPOC community or at all familiar with theology, world religions, and *real* sacred texts, it’ll rub you the wrong way too. Don’t waste your time.

I brought this a year ago on Audible and the voice was horrible and robotic and I couldn't really get into it. For some reason it called to me again and I brought the physical book. For starters I was like oh this is better than the audible but then when I got to the 1st code download i kind of felt like I was summoning a demon and got paranoid 😂 was kind of like changing the word god for the word Sophia. I couldn't read it. Maybe I'm not ready for a christ download.

This book gave me the creeps. I did not finish it, and gave it back to the friend who let me borrow it.

I'm not into another human believing to be any kind of prophet, or special than another to receive special messages. Gave off some Joesph Smith LDS vibes to me.

Anywho, Kaia Ra is a self righteous channeler and if she appropriately marketed herself as such, I'd be willing to give this a chance. If you follow her, PLEASE do your research and Google her.

What the f did I just read - this was my first reaction upon finishing this bad girl.

Very feminist - which I appreciate - but also quite men-hating?! Why is the new “spiritual software only viable for women?!

Bit scary upon being informed that you’re basically being updated like a smartphone app.

Intriguing.

Unhinged (neutral).

Too long - got me in a weird trance, but not the good type.

I tried to read this book multiple times for over a year. I just can't. I even tried to listen to her YouTube channel, but it just feels off. My soul doesn't vibe with her words.

I googled her, and to hear she is possibly lying of her life experiences is messed up. I'm not invested enough to want to investigate the truth. I'm trusting my gut and letting this book go.

Another review on here says it well.... "I'm not into another human believing they are any kind of prophet"

She does have a positive message, 'to remember and reveal who you really are', but her lengthy words and self-righteousness are too much. Feels cult-ish. She says you must clear your previous socially programmed beliefs, but it's essential to activate 'the sophia code'. Feels controlling wrapped in light and love. All cults have good in them, but they turn.

Use caution!!!

This book is a “walk and an Inner Journey with the Goddess Energy. As you move from chapter to chapter and section to section you work your way through the Key Codes of 7 Goddesses.

These Goddesses are: Isis, Hathor, Green Tara, Mary, Mother of Jeshua, Mary Magdalene, Quan Yin and White Buffalo Woman. Each Goddess has her own chapter where she describes her earthly life and provides exercises to assist in lightening our souls burdens.

We are introduced to the Seraph Dragons of Sophia, Creatrix and Mother of All. They too, have their own Key Code, energy body and help anchor our Dragon Light Body.

A truly awesome book for the spiritual warrior.

Terrible. Ego feeding, bunch of spiritual buzz words, it doesn't make any sense. Forced myself to read until Mary code. And why mentioning that she was abused, that didn't add anything to the rest of the book, if only to make people feel sorry for her - once again, too much ego. Had such a bad vibe from the start.

I wanted to love this book. I connected with some of the goddesses in it during breathwork after reading the chapters. But towards the end, I was getting a weird feeling. A white woman channelling the white Buffalo Woman made me feel uncomfortable. I had a moment when I read her story at the beginning of the book and I asked myself why was this necessary to put in it? I didn't think too much about it because to me, this was about connecting with the goddesses. But upon looking her up, you can see that she lied about her backstory and that makes me even more uncomfortable. Why lie? Couldn't the message be powerful enough without needing to create this false back story to get sympathy and get survivors to follow you? It doesn't resonate and I feel for the people that are misled by new age people like her and teal swan. This is really an unfortunate part of the new age movement and it honestly makes me sad because the world needs authentic spirituality.

This book just is not a good fit for me. I read it because so many in circle did and loved it and said it was a must do.

On one hand, it is empowering because it promotes self-initiation and pulls much from commonly agreed upon POVs. On the other hand, there is so much name dropping without deep historical and academic discovery that the book is a soup pot.

Most disappointing, is that the author's own wounds come to the surface in ways that are contradictory to the books purpose, to be a version of The Secret--one cannot manifest B by saying don't think of A.

Well, the next time "have you read" comes up. I can say, "yes" and go from there. The one-star I gave it is my way of saying I found the book to be well-intentioned but gobbellygook.

This is not one of those books that one reads one time. It is a manual. Without going into too much detail, there are specific spiritual practices that are in this book that are extremely powerful. For most it would be difficult to comprehend. One needs to be ready and open and available to the teachings of this book. I am just finishing the first read and have it by my bedside. What a joy to have discovered this book.

In truth I will always be returning to and reading this book. It has given me so much guidance and helped me to see the world differently, through a more compassionate lens towards myself and towards others. Every time I open the book or listen to it on tape I learn something new and have a new evolved awareness of life and my own purpose. The divine feminine which will guide you to higher self embodiment and self sovereignty. Truly powerful. Thank you, Kaia Ra for your work.

I just can’t read it. A few pages in and done. Use discernment and your bullshit radar will go off straight away. Googled her a few pages into the book and my suspicions were confirmed. The book is getting out of my house now!

There might be some gold in the book, but the delivery of it has been tarnished by a self righteousness, narcissistic author.

Such a beautiful book. I have never read anything like it in all of my spiritual readings. The book is written as if we are in the midst of a ceremony for our own sovereignty. Lovely.

This book is demon-inspired, not God-inspired... CAST IT OUT!!!

It has taken me years to undo the damage this false teaching has had on my life. I bought this book years ago, and it "helped" for a small time. But the reality is that this book is not a divine revelation from God but the devil himself. I hate that I missed it - I mean, it's a dragon code. It is right there. - the devil himself is represented by the dragon. The worst part is that Kaia has no idea.

My years following this unbiblical teaching were the worst, most wayward years of my life. The devil masquerades as an angel of light, and the author falls for it hook, line and sinker. Please, do not fall for this. It will lead you down a path that will not end well for you spiritually. Dorene Virtue, a previous New Age Christian Science teacher, has renounced the same false doctrine peddled here.

Jesus is not an 'ascended master' standing on some cloud with all the other ascended masters. Jesus stands at the throne of God. No other stands there but Him. Any teaching that promotes 'your sovereign divinity' or the worship of anyone other than Him is idolatry and hypocrisy and strictly goes against biblical teaching. The biblical Mary would be appalled by the corruption and heresy found in this book.

Please, I beg you. Turn away from this teaching. You don't need a relationship with 'mothers'; you need a relationship with Jesus. Close this book, open a bible. Start reading the gospel of John. Then youtube Dorene Virtue, and hear firsthand testimony of why this teaching won't save you but bind you to demonic deceptive forces.

"And the great dragon was thrown down—the ancient serpent, called the devil and satan, who deceives the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him." (Revelation 12:9)

But in the spurt of trying to read books, and cultivate my mind. This book came across my way.
I managed to check it out of the library (hence why the photos not mine)
And i read it, the whole book.
And some things I was like, eh are we sure?
But for the most part I was okay. I liked the different perspective.
So I went to review it on GR, on my list of books. And came across a comment that said the author has possibly lied about her back story.
As her back story is one steeped in horrific trauma. I was honestly floored b/c why would you make that up? Why would you pray on survivors like that?
I just. Wtf.
Honestly I never thought id question someone’s story Like this but it got me thinking. About how in the search for answers sometimes we just throw our money at things when we’ve found the “answer our were to happy to find what we think we are looking for that we stop to do anymore research. And even I’m guiltily of doing such things.
Im definitely not saying don’t read it, maybe check it out at the library first, and do some research before hand or after. Because there were things talked about scientifically that I don’t understand anyways so I still have to look things up.
This is an interview with her family? I haven’t made it through all of this, but this looks like a dissection of all her posts, and videos etc.
