Yeah, then he returned for Scarlett because of her strong-will and maybe even for her beauty, he was long-suffering until he realized she loved someone else...Ashley!!
Scarlet was unhappy with just rhett she also wanted melanies husband too. Scarlet did end up with Rhett in the sequel scarlet tho. So maybe all good things happen in time. I liked both books and both movies a lot.
I liked the first book better and I haven't watched the whole of Scarlet but plan too. I love Mr. Dalton as Rhett as much I loved Mr. Gable.
