I would love more about shadows, as well as the thieves book. Can you give us some short in between close details updates on the families.
This was a beginning worth reading. This story alone could lead to the two of them freeing and searching for others who are locked up like he was. Through one of Miss Leeds strange organizations she left money too. Maybe he owes a favor to one of his snacks because she told him someone special would come and lead him to the light. Maybe she even made him promise to find her, her own supernatural lover one day. So, somewhere out there she's waiting. They could even come up with their own under cover team that helps find and keep them safe. Somewhere out there Layla with light brown skin, long curly hair and a hour glass figure is waiting for her own beast. Micheal might even grow concerned when she no long brushes across his mind like she use to trying to ease his loneness. The one he feels like a brother to that she try's to remember. It will be interesting to see where this goes. Sorry just my own imagination getting away from me. This was first time I have read your stories will be reading more.
Finally! and hopefully SOMEONE will address the fact that he dresses like he lost an argument with his seeing eye dog...
