Catherine Wow.

Ashley Marie Truth. Scott Lynch really turns a profane phrase, and it's half the enjoyment of the book.

MsFormed Well, now I'm certainly going to read this book. I am looking forward to the vulgarity.

Richp Artform? Shit, fuck, and balls are used often, but hardly with creativity. And, the excessive of crude profanity in situations where the characters are in the society of the wealthy and nobility clashes with the conventions the author used to set his story.

It seems to me the excessive profanity is a marketing gimmick aimed at the age 11 to 14 bracket.

³àÀî¹È @Richp, i am within that 11-14 bracket and believe me, it was fairly mild compared to what other people my age say.

Richp @Joybean: I agree these terms are often used by people in this age bracket and older in USA.
