Emily This is a very inspiring answer, but I wanted to leave this comment just to say I absolutely love the concept of a "rejection book". It sounds like a cathartic way to gain perspective on progress that is so easy to get lost in. I'm already considering where I could use such an approach in other areas, so thankyou!
