I'm so sorry to hear about your brother and your mother. What a difficult time for you and your family. I am profoundly touched that my book helped you. Thank you for letting me know. I really appreciate it. I'm glad I was able to create a book that took your mind away to another place. I'm sending positive thoughts and best wishes to you.
You are welcome. If it wasn't for the escape from reality books provided I would have had trouble getting through the past 4 to 8 weeks. Looking forward to reading more in your series, glad see more are coming. The Tourist Trap series is another of my favorite series.
I've been thinking about your comment. When I do presentations, I tell people I write "safe" whodunits. I go on to explain there is no graphic violence. You can turn the page and not be worried you're going to end up reading a scene which puts an unwanted image in your mind. You also know the main characters are going to return in each book. It's okay to get attached to them. For me books are a place to enter another place and be entertained. I'm so glad you've enjoyed my books and they've helped you during a difficult time. I hope things are getting better for you.
