This sci-fi sub-genre explores relatively near-reaching possibilities, and tends to include enough technical detail to satisfy our inner geek. This is not your classic crime mystery novel. Not a galaxy far, far away. Not a fantasy. Nothing magical. Plausible physics in a plausible Earth-based setting. Sometimes non-fiction. Sometimes far-fetched. Too often � global ramifications.  

[close] A place to discuss all the unique aspects of Deaf culture as highlighted in the thriller Silent Fear (A novel inspired by true crimes) by Lance & James Morcan. This group can also be an intersection of sorts where Deaf and hearing people can engage and learn from each other.
