The Name of the Wind before the reading period is over. I start classes full time again on Monday, so I'm not sure if I'll have a lot of time to get any reading in. I may "cheat", though, and see if it's up on Audible.com

I thought it was okay. Didn't seem to have too many people interested or able to make it.

I'm probably going to be a bit late. I've put off food shoppings for way too long and am completely out of edibles in the house.

Either day would be good for me, as well, Saturday being a little bit better. I've never tired the Google hangouts, but, if you wanted to do a video chat, I know you can't do multiple people video chats in Skype without paying them monies.

I've heard The Name of the Wind is excellent.
How about
A Short Stay in Hell by Stephen L. Peck? Or
Foundation by Isaac Asimov?

I'm rather enjoying it, so far.

I'll have to pick it up when I get paid next Tuesday

I absolutely love Terry Pratchett, so I'd be up for that, or any of the Discworld novels I haven't read yet (and a few I have). John Scalzi is a good Sci-Fi author, Dan Wells is a good horror author, and Brandon Sanderson is an excellent fantasy author.
