Was I the only one who didn’t cry in this?! I heard this one is supposed to make u cry? I didn’t. So I’m giving it a 4 star. But I’m happy I have finally read one of book community most popular book! It was enjoyable and love the lgbt rep and how the battle scenes came out!😊 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Song of Achilles was beautiful in every way. I found myself enraptured by the story that I had thought I knew so well. I love the story of the Iliad. This just adds to the original story in a way that is heartbreaking.
Achilles is still the way he has always been; arrogant and hotheaded. The way Miller writes him, however, makes me actually love him in a way I never had. Patroclus is still an unspoken hero. He is constantly showing his care, not only for Achilles, but those around him.

I cannot stop crying.
This book was hauntingly beautiful. From the small descriptions to the love between Patroclus & Achilles....*weeps* I just cannot.
I didn't know what to expect from this book - only that it was good & everybody - I mean everybody was raving about it & so I jumped on Book depository & bought it - wanting to know what all the hype was about. & I am not too proud to say they were right.
