This book left me feeling� deeply disturbed. And not in a bad way, just in a wooooow this is way toooo familiar kind of way. It was honestly terrifying!
The main character, Winston, felt pretty average to me. He reminded me of Stoner from Stoner or Montag from Fahrenheit 451. Not super bold, not exactly inspiring, but written in a way that resonated with me nevertheless. TBH I pitied him more than I admired him.
