I started off liking this book!
I wanted to know why Kerian hated Lake so much!
It starts when they are young. Kerian hurts Lake on the playground while she's trying to save a scared little boy on the monkey bars. It just gets worse as the years go by. He torments her. I started off liking this book!
I wanted to know why Kerian hated Lake so much!
It starts when they are young. Kerian hurts Lake on the playground while she's trying to save a scared little boy on the monkey bars. It just gets worse as the years go by. He torments her. He spreads rumors. Nobody will talk to her except for the weird girl Willow. Then Kerian goes away to Juvie for a year after getting busted with drugs at school. Things feel normal for Lake for the first time in her life. Then she hears Kerian is back.
Now it's senior year and they are back in school. He's ready to make Lake pay for setting him up last year.
What does he do?? He blackmails her into submitting to him or he will kill her Aunt and Willow. He wants her virginity and he will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
This is when I felt it started getting dumb!! These kids are 18!!! There is never any parents around or teachers for that matter. Kerian has her taking off her panties in class before school starts and stuffing them in her mouth. Crawling to him and then sits her on the desk and eats her out. Then he forces his dick in her mouth later at his or her house. Then he forces his dick in her and takes her virginity. Lake is so scared she does whatever he wants. But then she also doesn't listen to him when he tells her to stay put either. Either you are scared or you're not scared!!! Make up your fucking mind Lake!!!! He at one time is fucking her in the kitchen and his cousin comes in and she could care less because she still begs Kerian to let her come!! Ridiculous!!!!!!! After Kerian finds out it wasnt Lake that set him up you would think he would change. No!!! Lake decides she wants revenge now. Grrrrr!!!! If you were scared at all to begin with you would not be seeking him out for revenge!!

I could care less why Kerian is like he is! I could care less if they stay together. I could care less if Lake gets her revenge! I could care less about this whole stupid ass book! What a waste of time!!!
I'm moving on now! lol ...more

This is my favourite series. I don鈥檛 want to write a long review because it won鈥檛 do any justice to this book.

I just want to say that everyone who is a fan of dark romance, alpha asshole, amazing secondary characters, must read this series.

B. B. Reid is one of my most favourite authors and in my eyes she cannot write a bad book.
