Authors are like medieval torturers reincarnated!! They rip out your HEART and then CRUSH it with their cliffhangers and heart-wrenching scenes! They lull you into a false sense of security and then dump you in a vat of 'feels' and endless piles of used up tissues and chocolate!! WHY?!

I know I'm practically giving away 5 stars to all of the Lux books but they're just so goddamn entertaining! If Onyx turned you into a gooey puddle with all of Daemon's sweetness AND sexiness, Opal is a thousand times better!
Call me a perv but I'm glad the two finally did it! It's about damn time! But I am mostly entertained with all the "almost there" scenes. Especially the one with Andrew!
Also, the things Daemon did for Katy... it's all awesomesauce. Seriously. I can't even blame Katy for want ...more

Not as fast paced/crazy as Obsidian and Onyx, but I still loved it!! Katy and Daemon scenes were the best as usual and I loved how we got more scenes with Daemon's family! About the ending - bluggh!! Even though I saw it coming (and had Fiery Heart flashbacks), I still had to immediately start reading Origin! I'm going to be so depressed when this series is over

WOW!! I loved this as much, if not more than the last book! Except for the insane ending and the fact that I don’t have the next book NOW!!
I started to get more and more nervous as OPAL was drawing to a close--expecting the other shoe to drop since there was so much (view spoiler)! OMG Daemon what can I say, a perfect boyfriend aka alien. Katy and her friends must save Beth for Dawson, and of course that idiot Blake is back again ugh, and wants their help to save his friend otherwise he will turn Daemon and Katy over to the DOD. So with all that, plus the romance with Katy and Daemon and the OMG cliffhanger, can't wait for Origin to come out. July is too far away.

i don't know where to start. the book was outstanding. it was fun to read and was composed very well. the dialogues were awesome and i seriously can't wait for the next part. it is a must read book with a lot of twist and turns where trust is the main base of it and every turn points in the direction.
