From cave kisses and twin thrones to weddings and funerals, City of Heavenly Fire is an epic read.
Be prepared to cry both happy tears...and many, many sad tears.
Because Cassandra Clare has done what Cassandra Clare does best: she's given us a tale filled with our favourite characters and plenty of chances for these characters to make a mess of things, almost-die, kiss, and throw about snarky commentary (and then almost-die again).

WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE MY LOVE FOR THIS SERIES/FINAL BOOK!!
Tears were definitely shed....BOTH HAPPY AND SAD!!
Perfect conclusion to a phenomenal and beautiful series.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't going to miss these characters. It was a bittersweet moment reading the last couple of pages because I knew it was eventually going to come to an end and I did not want it to be over at all.

I am so emotionally drained right now. The moment I saw the last page, I just about lost it. I read the first book in this series in seventh grade and a little over five years later, I finally have to say goodbye to all the characters. This was why I put off reading it for so long. Not gonna lie, I cried each and EVERY time they mentioned will or the fact that Herondales are amazing and sexy. I cried for good guys and bad guys and the fact that this is a conclusion. There were minor things that

Still perfect second time around. Now to Bane Chronicles

“We are all the pieces of what we remember. We hold in ourselves the hopes and fears of those who love us. As long as there is love and memory, there is no true loss.
1st read: 5/5 stars
2nd read: 5/5 stars
It was a long time ago since I've read this, and I totally forgot a lot of details. But it still did not fail to make me weep at the Brother Zachariah, Tessa, and Emma and Julian and all the Blackthorns moments. It just had so much more of an impact after reading all the other Shadowhunte ...more

This book was by far one of the best books I've ever read. One of the best conclusions to a series. I was so drawn into this book. Not as if that's a shocking thing considering this entire series has always had me wrapped around its finger. I would and always will recommend this series/book to everyone.
Clare really out did herself with the conclusion of this series. I was so sad to see it end but I thought she ended it perfectly. She gave us just enough, torment, sadness, action, death and happi ...more

ok. I had to wait two weeks before I wrote a review about this book.I stayed up until 9 AM to finish it and then i cried myself to sleep. I really did.
This book was everything I needed and more. I cried,I cried so hard it was worse than all the clockwork princess crying because all those feelings came rushing back and in the Epilogue I was crying so hard I had to muffle my sobs in my pillow.
Heartbroken, In a good way. In this book i GASPED many times. When I found out about the seelie queen and ...more

In the last installment of Cassandra Clare's bestselling series "The Mortal Instruments", Clary and her friends have to save the world (of course!). They still find the time to agonize over their love lives. go shopping for christmas presents... Even when they find themselves quite literally in hell, they still worry about their relationships, one of them even gets drunk. In real life, these guys wouldn't have lasted a day in that war.

this part was epic and was much better then the 5th part. I loved the ending ad the way with which the writer tied down all loss ends in the story. It was fast but very detailed and thank God the ending was not rushed. I had a great time reading this series and i am very happy with the way it ended :P

A good ending to the series but I just wish I finish it last year when I was still interested in Jace and Clary's story. Don't get me wrong, I love The Mortal Instruments but at this point in time, I have for sure moved on from this type of story.. :)

So much to say... This book was honestly great! I loved it! I loved that we were introduced to Emma and the Blackthorn's from the next series and that the ending was sweet for everyone. It made me laugh, and cry and it did not disappoint.

I cannot even begin to know what to say, except that I feel as though I've been on a great journey with these books and I already miss the characters, especially Jace. Fabulous just fabulous...
