I really like Lola and Cricket. They're really cute together! Through the first half of the book I loved them soooooo much more than Anna and Etienne. I like Anna and Etienne too but I prefer Lola and Cricket more. I still like Lola and Cricket more but by the end of the book my love for them had toned down a little bit. Mostly because at times their relationship reflected Anna and Etienne's, because they moved really fast towards the end and because of the cheese. I rarely ever like cheese and ...more

I cannot believe I waited a long time before reading this book.

Eccentric as the protagonist may be, I loved the way she expressed herself, not that I would do it to myself.
I loved Cricket so much. He was just one of the few literature guys that I loved because of his "shy" persona.

I don't know what else to say, because I'm too overwhelmed with the book. Haha!

At first I was going to give this three stars, but something--I'm not even sure what--saved it for me. Maybe it was the ending. I don't know.
Anyway. I didn't like Lola at first. I didn't like how she acted, nor how she had a 22-year-old boyfriend. Don't ask me why. I can't explain it. But I hate love triangles. I think they make the girl seem like a cheater, especially if she's with one guy but clearly lusting after another. It just...*shudders* I don't like it.
Cricket wasn't my favorite love i

Not as good as ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS, but still pretty enjoyable. I admit couldn’t put the book down and was very anxious about how it would all work out. This story is much more juvenile than ANNA and not as funny--and there is a VERY frustrating amount of anticipation here (I found myself paging ahead a bit in my eagerness for something better to happen).

I loved Cricket--he is superhumanly patient, sweet, and thoughtful--and unwavering! It’s nice to see such a good guy ultimately prevail--b

"Once upon a time, there was a girl who talked to the moon. And she was mysterious and she was perfect, in that way that girls who talk to moons are. In the house next door, there lived a boy. And the boy watched the girl grow more and more perfect, more and more beautiful with each passing year. He watched her watch the moon. And he began to wonder if the moon would help him unravel the mystery of the beautiful girl. So the boy looked into the sky. But he couldn't concentrate on the moon. He wa ...more

Well my original review didn't save...and I don't have the energy to write it again.

Basically it was super cute!

Lola was annoying but Cricket was fantastic. I wanted to punch Max.

My favorite quote....

"So you believe in second chances?...If the person is...Lola?" "Only if the other person is Cricket."
