Wow!! I was completely engrossed in this book鈥擨 could not put it down! I loved the characters, romance, mystery, and growth of Allyson throughout the course of the story. I loved the day in Paris, Allyson鈥檚 search and all the people she met along the way, and her growth through the things that happened to her, the choices she made, and the people she met.

I was completely drawn into the mystery of the story, too鈥攚hat actually had happened with Willem? Where and why and how? And who was he? I had Wow!! I was completely engrossed in this book鈥擨 could not put it down! I loved the characters, romance, mystery, and growth of Allyson throughout the course of the story. I loved the day in Paris, Allyson鈥檚 search and all the people she met along the way, and her growth through the things that happened to her, the choices she made, and the people she met.

I was completely drawn into the mystery of the story, too鈥攚hat actually had happened with Willem? Where and why and how? And who was he? I had NO idea how the story would play out and what would happen in the end. I probably would have been extremely frustrated with the ending of this book, if the next one wasn鈥檛 already out there鈥攁vailable for me to read right away. SO glad I waited for the entire series to be published before I read it :)

This book brought out a lot of emotions, too! I was giddy and swooning during the day in Paris, but crying during several moments in the latter part of the book. And, I did feel A LOT of frustration at some of the turns the story took鈥攁s well as feeling disappointed and angry by a few things that happened along the way. I also felt Allyson鈥檚 joy and pride in herself, too, as she grew and changed things in her life for the better鈥攖hose moments were VERY satisfying! I can鈥檛 wait to get the rest of the story from Willem鈥檚 side of things. I have my fingers crossed for this couple鈥擨鈥檓 hoping that some things are not as they seemed at the end of this book鈥攁nd that others are exactly as they could be ;)

I loved the thought-provoking quotes and encounters and ideas in this book鈥攍oved the Shakespeare, the idea of fated accidents, falling in love versus being in love, visualizing to find lost items, and many, many more tidbits and treasures here.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book!! SO happy to see Allyson find herself and I鈥檓 hoping she continues her journey towards happiness in the next book.

This book has some strong, mature language, some mature topics, and some sexual content that is very steamy, but not extremely detailed (clothing is removed, but details are not explicit鈥攎ostly vague and strongly-implied鈥攁nd limited to one extended scene). This book is definitely more appropriate for a mature audience of older teens or adults鈥攆or sure! In my opinion, this is much more a New Adult read than a Young Adult read. ...more
