I wasn't too sure about this book when I first started it. But the more I read, the less I could put it down. When all the hands-on started happening about halfway through the book my mouth dropped open wide, I didn't want to believe that he could do that to her. he seems so normal and caring until that episode at his house with his father.

Sarah Dessen does a beautiful job of showing how abusive relationships start and why they don't stop. Caitlin's voice is hauntingly calm and brave as she gets sucked into a romance she can't control.
