My mom asked me earlier today, "so what are you now"....my reply "ACOTAR", she doesn't even read or follow YA but her response still is, "AGAIN?!?". Yes, mom and everyone else, again. This series just never gets old and I just feel like a warm blanket wraps around me when I open this book and read it again. I have other things I should be reading, but I think I will just go on to the next one. Lord knows it's my favorite of them all.

**reread!!!!!! 5/31/17**

So I needed something good in my life, especially with reading, so I put a hold on everything because I felt like I needed to reread this series...especially since I am getting my hands on the 3rd book!!!! Reading this the second time, after everything that happens in the second book, puts a lot into perspective. I no longer fall for Tamlin's charm. Also, the second Rhysand walks onto the stage....my world instantly got better. To say I'm excited for the second book reread, is a bit of an understatement. I can always count on Sarah J Maas to make my life better with the worlds she creates!!! I LOVE FEYRE AND RHYSAND <3

So firstly, I was super excited that I got a chance to read this early, thanks to winning a copy from Sarah at ApollyCon, thanks again Sarah!

I was hooked on this book the SECOND I heard about it and after reading it, I'm still obsessed with Tamlin and Feyre (they are awesome names by the way!).

It was definitely a darker read and the last half of the book at times, emotionally drained me, but in a really good way!

I loved the depiction of the Priythian, I felt the urge a couple of times to jump into the book, so I could experience Priythian myself ;).

As always, the characters are what make the experience for me and Sarah Maas has this way of creating the most PERFECT set of characters. Feyre, Tamlin, Lucien and Rhysand were simply fantastic and like Cealaena, Feyre is quickly becoming one of my favorite heroines.

Even though I LOVED Tamlin and am definitely routing for him, I hope Rhysand gets a happy ending. I'm super duper excited for more in this series! I'm pretty sure Sarah Maas can do no wrong at this point, 5 billion stars. ...more

I'm always a huge fan of fantasy, but I never encountered a NEW ADULT FANTASY! It's always going to be either in the YA or Adult category, so I was very surprised when this book gave both NA and Fantasy! of course, Sarah J. Maas is a QUEEN!

I loved everything about it!! Especially the plot twists!!!! I LOVED IT!! I'M SO SPEECHLESS!

This was the first book by Sarah J Maas I had read and I have to say that I absolutely loved it. It was the first book in quite a while that I did not want to put down. The main character, Feyre, was perfect. She was ordinary and flawed, poor and illiterate. She was so atypical compared to all other heroines these days that I liked her instantly. So, let me start off by saying this isn't the book for me. I couldn't connect however, the writing is well done and it flows well. It's so easy to read and follow. I've heard so much about this series and author I wanted to try it. I'm giving the book a 4 star even though it didn't work for me because I can see how it works for the majority. I really enjoyed this story. It was a refreshing new take on the beauty and the beast story. It had action, romance, intrigue - all the things that are the lifeblood of a good story. I am so enthralled that I am cracking the second book open right now...
