My mom asked me earlier today, "so what are you now"....my reply "ACOTAR", she doesn't even read or follow YA but her response still is, "AGAIN?!?". Yes, mom and everyone else, again. This series just never gets old and I just feel like a warm blanket wraps around me when I open this book and read it again. I have other things I should be reading, but I think I will just go on to the next one. Lord knows it's my favorite of them all.

I'm always a huge fan of fantasy, but I never encountered a NEW ADULT FANTASY! It's always going to be either in the YA or Adult category, so I was very surprised when this book gave both NA and Fantasy! of course, Sarah J. Maas is a QUEEN!

This was the first book by Sarah J Maas I had read and I have to say that I absolutely loved it. It was the first book in quite a while that I did not want to put down. The main character, Feyre, was perfect. She was ordinary and flawed, poor and illiterate. She was so atypical compared to all other heroines these days that I liked her instantly. She had to learn everything the hard way, took care of her family on her own and got no special favors and had no special powers. Her love interest, Ta

So, let me start off by saying this isn't the book for me. I couldn't connect however, the writing is well done and it flows well. It's so easy to read and follow. I've heard so much about this series and author I wanted to try it. I'm giving the book a 4 star even though it didn't work for me because I can see how it works for the majority. This is just not a genre I do well to read in. Myself not being able to connect to the book is not a reflection of the book or author. That is simply me.
