First off, Yes, I am one of the authors in this anthology (Beneath Still Waters is my story), however I'm giving it a 5 star rating because I love the other 11 stories in the book. I read them all and enjoyed them even when they creeped me out or gave me the shivers. Each is as unique as its author and just as wonderful. I have absolutely no problem recommending each of their books and believe readers everywhere will also enjoy this entire collection of stories. ...more

Creepy shorts that don’t disappoint!
I’m not usually a fan of short stories, but when I picked this up, I found myself engrossed in each and every tale that I read. From the spine tingling folk lore of Scott Nicholson’s Wampus Cat to Catie Rhodes graphic realism with a twist of humor in Haste, I thoroughly enjoyed the uniqueness of each story. Tamara Ward’s Jade O’Reilly and The Graveyard Shift had me looking over my shoulder at the creeks from my floorboards and Rhonda Hopkins story The Consumin

Wow, what can I say?

Witches, vampire rats, ghosts, a haunted house, shape-shifters and many, many more.

It takes a lot to creep me out, but these authors managed it. I'm not going to add to the other reviewers except to say. Wow!
