At first I was skeptical. Then I read the beginning of the book and thought: "Huh? Girl in asylum gets a roommate? SIGN ME UP!"
I basically flew through Shatter Me. I could literally not put it down (even neglected some school work). Even though I have to admit it is not perfect, nor is it for everyone: I loved it. Yes, Tahereh Mafi's poetic writing style is an issue for some people, and at first I was extremely confused too (because I literally thought someone had doodled in my book f ...more
