4.5 stars for this latest installment in the Midnight Breed series. Lara Adrain once again gives us a book full of nail biting suspense as our favorite paranormal crew fights against the evil that is rising around them.

Love this series!!
Zael and Brynne! The Atlantean and the daywalker (Tavia-Chase's mate half sister) I love their romance and how they found passionate love. It was super sexy and Hot! I couldn't help but get lost in the action. Everything that's going on with "The Order" is total chaos with Opus Nostrum and now also the Atlantean Queen Selene threat for War. A filler book that doesn't have much in the way of intrigue but moves the overall arc ahead fractionally. I didn't feel any connection to the main couple so was not invested in their story. Listened to this on audiobook and the narrator's British accent was dreadful.
