To Command and Collar is the sixth book of the Master of the Shadowlands series by Cherise Sinclair. This book is very heart wrenching. It is so sad reading through the things about the slaves, abused and sufferings. It is very heartbreaking, thank goodness we have Master Raoul to save at least one of them. I love the Shadowlands. This is not my favorite book of the series, but I still really liked it. It reminded me a lot of Tender Mercies, but was less of a mind-fuck. I really liked Raoul and Sam. There was less of the club in this one. Most of the book took place at Raoul's home. It worked. I think it is about time I did a re-read of this whole series. I was disappointed that Beth and Nolan were not in this book a little more.

After the hospital scene with the mother and sister though, I skimmed pages because it was too painful. Then I started reading again... I feel guilty about that and want to go back and re read that part, but too many books, so little time :)!
