What Members Thought

I felt in love with the first two books and I had high hopes about the end of this book...
But honestly, it was very disappointing.
Specially the Epilogue.
What is Tessa thinking that she is doing?
Why does she can't choose one person without loving both?
Cassandra Clare is one of my favorite authors, yet she disappoints me in this very last book.
Never mind, I'll forget it.
I hope that she would not disappoint me in her Dark Artifices series.. ...more

When I started this trilogy, I thought I was going to love it inmediately. Then I read the first book, didn't love it, and dreaded reading the rest of the books and feeling a big fat disappointment at both The Infernal Devices and me for being part of that small percentage of people that do not like the series.
In the end, and after many days of confusion, an unstoppable stream of tears and some seriously heated rants overTessa the characters' romantic dramas, I finally finished the whole thing

because I was bored hehe, listen to me rant and endure my last 2 braincells please🥺🥺 (spoiler free or very minor spoilers, nothing to do with the epilogue or the main events.)
•I know it's a long review and some will most likely skip it XD
•I sobbed at the ending of clockwork princess, the last 3 chapters and the epilogue, I was crying so hard that I doubted my ability to finish the book.

I cannot believe this Trilogy is now over! Oh how much I loved it.. This will forever be my favorite series.. This book was the cherry on top! A perfect end to a perfect Trilogy!! ❤️
There is not one thing I disliked, the book was filled with twists and turns.. The moment you feel you have all the pieces of the puzzle and everything figured out, the author slaps you in the face with a new twist.. I am spellbound!!

I just cannot explain what this story does to me without sounding a little crazy but I'm going to try:
When I was 13 I read City of Bones and everything changed in my life for the better, the truth is that I finally found my favorite author and my favorite series, then maybe a year later i read Clockwork Angel and my heart never felt more in love of a fictional character and by the time I read this book I was sobbing in my bed while I hugged my laptop just saying "I love you all so much".

Heartbreakingly beautiful conclusion to the trilogy. The prose was lyrical and poetic and made for an extremely satisfying story of loss and love. Love between family-blood and found; love between soulmates.
I set out on this journey not expecting to be wowed by a YA romance but the powerful writing was worth the long build-up. Plus, it doesn't hurt that Daniel Sharman is a great narrator. ...more
