FINALLY! Been meaning to read this book for years, and I finally got around to it. This book has been referenced so many times in other books that I read - it felt like I already knew it.

This book was both incredibly fascinating and horribly boring. There were a lot of great concepts, but Diamond kind of beats those concepts to death before moving on. There was also a lot of repetition. I mean LOTS of repetition. I mean that he would say the same thing over and over again. He just kept repeating himself but using slightly different phrases. He found an amazing concept and then talked about the same thing over and over. There was so much repetition. He repeated ideas... well, you ...more
