David Rubenstein
Two excellent science writers collaborated on this book. The title describes the overall theme quite well; the origin of the universe, galaxies, stars, elements, solar systems, planets, and life. The last chapter discusses the search for extra-terrestrial life.

Outstanding. This book helped me to beging to wrap my brain around some physics concepts that I just didn't get before - well written for the lay person. I'm looking forward to reading NDT's other books - just as entertaining in book form as he is on Colbert or the Daily Show. Very recommended! ...more
