Mary Roach is a funny woman and she obviously went through great lengths to research the material she found for this book. I appreciate her efforts greatly, however I couldn't help but notice many sex-negative influences permeating the attitude she has about sex and the topics she decided to research.

For example, she spent several chapters on male genitalia, but only one chapter on the clit in which she spent the entire time comparing it to the penis and no chapters at all on the vagina. She on

This book was jam packed with the best sex studies and best general sex information possible. I loved every page. This is Roach's best book yet. Scientifically solid yet funny, she delivers copious amounts of hidden knowledge to her reader.

Mary Roach is a very engaging writer, and could write a smart and witty book about grass growing. For her to write a book about one of the most interesting subjects of all is a surefire winner.
