What Members Thought
Apples, tulips, marijuana, potatoes. You gotta love a book that takes 4 very prosaic plants and makes them educational, entertaining, thought-provoking and amusing.
I really enjoyed this book. Pollan is a very interesting writer, and reveals a perspective of the plant world that I hadn't seen before. The chapters on cannabis and the potato were my favorite chapters, and gave me the most to think about and take away from this book.
