Ok, here we go. I am not at all mentally prepared to write a review for this book, so pardon me if this goes downhill VERY quickly. Trust me, the moment I get to the characters I will die. Oh wait, I do characters first. GREAT.
The Characters

I actually didn't like Kaz as much as I remember. I'm really sad about that. I mean, he was still an amazing character, but there is a point where you can hide too much. There's a difference between secrecy and outright distru ...more

my childhood!!!!!! I love this book.
Completely satisfied to be jumping headfirst into the hype whilst chanting "no mourners, no funerals" as if it's my last breath on earth.
I was about to give up on the YA fantasy genre, but Six of Crows showed me how cliches can be convincing and crazy, showed me how adventure and camaraderie is not lost, showed me truly how escapism into a world not of our own is.
It mastered the misfits with clashing personalities and pasts banding together and finding a “fam ...more

“Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo has been an exciting and fun ride as I joined the crew from Ketterdam on an impossible heist.
So I was introduced to the Six of Crow characters through the popular Netflix show Shadow & Bone. I also know through the grapevine that there are spoilers in the second season of Crooked Kingdom—the second book in the Six of Crow series. So clearly, I wanted to do a chapter-by-chapter summary on my podcast before watching a show.

OMG, this book is the best thing that I see since cake.
It´s so amazing and so memorable and I just want to show it to everyone so everybody could read and get addictive to It like I am. The thing that I like the most about six of crows is the characters. I love them. They are so unique and different from each other, but together they make an amazing crew. I have to say that Inej is my favourite. She is so powerful and strong and that scene when she is climbing, OMG girl you got me in that scene ...more

**Infinite / 5**
I am mind blown by Leigh Bardugo's writing.
The only problem was that I couldn't put it down. It kept me hooked all night.
I can't put into words what I felt cause I still am digesting everything. Words won't even do any justice here.
The plot. The storyline . The characters . The momens. Everything was perfect!!
The background of the characters were so well portrayed which brought out the originality of the book.

An entirely different book by @lbardugo I enjoyed reading this though i still prefer Shadow and Bone. Six of Crows is set in the Grisha world as well, and we see new places here. Totally new characters as well, we are introduced to Kaz Brekker who is the leader of the most popular gang in the Ravkan city of Ketterdam. After destroying a rival group, he is kidnapped by Jan van Eck who enlists him for a seemingly impossible quest in exchange for an irresistible sum of thirty million kruge. The tas

This was a book highly recommended to me through social media bloggers I follow. Although I felt it did not entirely live up to it’s hype, I definitely fell for Kaz in a hardcore sort of way. He embodies the “yakuza/gang leader feel my friend and I are constantly raving over in our romance discussions. Overall, an enjoyable read and I look forward to my next novel!
